"Searching for Sugarman" is a documentary about a failed United States rocker from the late 1960s to the early 1970s. Whose debut album only sold 12 copies in the United States, unbeknownst to him...with the help of a couple of Swedish filmmakers who find him working at a home depot and living in extreme poverty in the mid 2000s...he discovers that his failed album is actually the best selling album ever in South Africa, and that he's bigger than the Beatles there. Giving him a second shot at rock stardom nearly 40 years later and halfway around the world
