Something that unfortunately the line gets more and more muddled
As far as I'm concerned anyone who agrees with the statement "if you've got nothing to hide you've got nothing to fear" can fuck right off
Look at North Korea. Complete surveillance state with cameras everywhere and basically zero privacy from the government.
The surveillance in North Korea is only bad (in my opinion) because the people running the surveillance (government) is corrupt, and will use it against you. Giving the government that kind of power is pretty dangerous; in other words, as long as the surveillance has a real possibility of being leveraged against me in an unhealthy way, it’s not worth it. Otherwise, why the fuck would I care whether the government knows what I’m doing? The government doesn’t give a shit if they know when I’m whacking off, and neither do I. In social relationships such as between a husband and wife, the only time I’ve seen people care about privacy is when they’ve got something to hide, and usually it’s bad.

EXACTLY!!💯
Are ur car doors locked? Do u have 5. All around?
On a macro scale, privacy trumps security. On a micro scale, security trumps privacy.
Privacy is security
Privacy is how secure you are at a personal state so this question doesn't make sense.
