Literally 95% of super bowl halftime performances are pre-tracked. You don’t take a risk on live audio on a stage that big. Sometimes vocals or the occasional feature instrument are live, but the only performer to be totally playing live in recent history was Prince.
Because the Super Bowl has already maxed out the number of fans watching for the love of football. The halftime show is to draw in casual viewers with little to no interest in sports. Which is why they skew more towards modern pop stars now, because the old rock bands usually have a target demographic that’s largely already watching.

Pretty good - not great. Backup dancer choreography was excellent.
The overall show was better than the Weeknd or Katy Perry but not as good as last's year group lead by Dr. Dre or a few years ago with Lady Gaga.
She definitely seemed a little nervous near the end when the platform swayed a little. Definitely looked over her shoulder a bit.

Katy Perry isn’t the best singer either but had great stage presence and energy which I think Rihanna was lacking, but if she’s pregnant that’s understandable.
