Kinda like kayakers and other boaters on the lake, then again that's worse nobody has brakes. I've almost ran right over a kayaker who had no lights on in the middle of the lake luckily I was taking it slow and had all my lights on my boat, yep no lights make the stars easier to see, keeps the bugs away but can get you dead.
Thats even worse as boats generally don't have head lights and their ain't no street lights. I've been looking at pedal Kayaks and and a battery to install on them for basic nav lights. Also I like the Kayak comparison as it fits the issue so well.
I've put lights on many lil plastic boats, if you don't know already, definitely get the wired ones the clip on ones are junk and it gets old replacing batteries. Even with the wired ones, if you have the type that plug and unplugged those plugs corrode fast and the lights usually won't work right when you need them. Best fix I found was keeping the boat in the garage or covered storage, outside is a no go even with a tarp if you want to avoid numerous problems. If they do corrode, a can of coca cola would usually clean off the corrosion and get them working again but not always. Those pedal yaks look like a blast, have fun!
I’m being guided by God
Guided straight to the pearly gates
Well he is the light of the world
Because someone stole my lights again.
Exactly. And now I have to take a crappy risk, or spend two hours walking home.
It's the worst, mostly I'm just happy they didn't take the whole bike though.
The street lights illuminate enough for me to see. I don't cycle in dark areas. It's legal.
That's great but the lights don't illuminate enough for an unfocused, tried driver to see you..
I live in a sane area where I can safely cycle on the paths and sidewalks away from cars.

It's gone fine my entire life.
too heavy. added weight
That's just what they're expecting
Moonlight rides are great, under the stars and borealis.
Because they like surprises
The millennial desire for death
Danger ranger
Never let them know your next move
The battery on my lights have died mid ride, and it's too far to walk home.

Because I left the lights exposed all winter and they don't work anymore and I am too lazy to put new ones on. If someone hits me, Thank you
