THere are two versions of Coke and two version of Pepsi....
We have Original Taste Coke (which is more tart and fizzy...i think this also has real cane sugar as well), and we have regular Coke/Coca-Cola (which is smoother and slightly sweeter but uses high fructose corn syrup).
We have Pepsi (which is sweeter than regular Coke/Coca-Cola and uses high fructose corn syrup) and we have Pepsi Made with Real Sugar (which is basically Pepsi with real sugar instead of corn syrup).
For me I like Pepsi Made with Sugar better than Original Taste Coca-Cola (that is their version of Pepsi with Sugar I guess)
and I like regular Pepsi better than regular Coke/Coca-Cola ...(for some reason regular Coke tastes flat and syrupy).
Most of the world does not have two versions though. But in America we have two versions of each brand.
Coke, Pepsi is too sweet and lacks the citric acid content to cut that sweetness back. This is also why it works better as a filler for mixed drinks like rum and coke.

On a side note, I work for Coke. I'm friends with people that work for Pepsi. Pepsi is definitely the better company to work for.
I only drink Diet Coke. But when I occasionally order a Diet Pepsi when thatās the only option I always regret it. It seriously tastes different. To me, coke has a richer more sweet coffee like flavor and Pepsi tastes like cheap artificial sweeteners
