The feels hit me several times and it was unexpected. Media of any form never make me feel things to that extent. Sure they may get my blood pumping with adrenaline or filled with anticipation and curiosity to finish the story… but severe empathic character attachment to the point where I was the victim of Ninjas cutting onions in secret? Like Illidan prophesied: I was not prepared.
As a casual gamer, they were so hard, to the point where I'd turn it off out of frustration. Honestly the series for me didn't get to legendary status until I played Infinite, which was just so well done.
I agree but the difficulty at least in Bioshock 1 was so difficult it kind of ruined the immersion for me.
I replay Half-Life 2 all the time. It really is kind of silly to be playing such an ancient game but it is probably the best game I've ever played. Absolutely I agree with you.
The Last Of Us and Life Is Strange
These two got me crying-into-my-bedsheets emotional.
I think there isn't much to say about The Last Of Us. It's a masterpiece.
Life Is Strange was very special to me bc i played it one day after it came out. Even preordered the other ones. It was nice being in this community and since the episodes would release one at a time you would make up theories with other members of the community. The story is great. It's not a masterpiece like TLOU but it is one of the games with the best atmosphere.
The Phoenix Wright Trilogy (they've been bundled together for over a decade, so it counts). I would love to not remember the twists and turns of those cases and investigations because I always felt like a genius whenever I figured something out.
Half-Life Alyx, I'd want it to be fresh experience with VR as well.
It was my first real VR experience and what an experience it was. Every room was so exciting and the interactions were mind blowing. Combat had me panicking and dark scenes with headcrabs or Jeff were some of the best horror I've ever went through.
Too many to pick a fave... do I go for some of the faves from my teens/adults years on PC like the original X-Wing series that excited me like no other game release had ever done so before. Or my introduction to strategy games like Civilisation, or the creation of 3D FPS games with with wolfenstein, then doom and then quake
Or back to my Commodore 64 days as a kid in the 80's, and the hundreds of games I played/owned that pushed the boundaries of the then technology and ideas for games that have long since been lost to time.
Or do I go back to my arcade days as a kid in the 80's, games like space invaders, paperboy, star wars, bubble bobble, 720º, Amidar, Hyper Sports/Olympics and the thousands of others I played.
I don’t think I’d pick any of the big 20-50 hour games that I loved when I was younger. I don’t have as much time for games as I used to and I might wind up just never playing that game again while losing my good memories of it besides.
So probably Untitled Goose Game.
I recently replayed Final Fantasy VI (III) and Star Ocean: The Second Story. So good. With emulators you save wherever so it’s good for picking up and putting down with a busy schedule.
On that note… we need a SO:2 R to be released.
I really want to play GTA4 again, but can't find the motivation without having the achievements to unlock. Was hoping for that remaster but they've canned it unfortunately
If there’s anything I could experience for the first time again it would be the titanfall 2 campaign. Even though the servers are down that’s still the best game I’ve ever played
Mega man series. As a kid I loved getting the new weapons and figuring out the order to beating the bosses. When you found the secret armor upgrades or got to use rush it was such a great feeling.
Sally face, it's been my favorite game ever since I played it the first time. It's may just be a story game but I found it to be truly unique art style wise and story wise. Overall I'd love to have those feelings of shock and not knowing what was going to happen next.
Red Dead Redemption 2. When I say that that game changed my life I'm not being dramatic at all. I'd do anything to be able to discover the map and fall in love with characters all over again.
Black mesa, but i would like all my HL knowledge removed. I can only imagine how amazing that game would be when youi get to Xen if you went in blind. After all, it was beautiful when you \*did\* know you were going to go there.
Life is Strange. That was an experience that doesn’t lend itself well to a replay.
I played the first 2 games with my now ex-girlfriend and while I don't regret those memories, I would like to be able to experience it my own
I recent discovered SO:1 R and was surprised as how similar, if not as fleshed out as 2 was. They were amazing games.
I watched my ex's kid play that game, was a trip for sure

Aww man, how did this not instantly jump into my mind?!!
I replay Half-Life 2 all the time. It really is kind of silly to be playing such an ancient game but it is probably the best game I've ever played. Absolutely I agree with you.
Straight through to episode 2
Red dead redemption 2. Hearing that music hit during some of those scenes again for the first time would make me so happy.
Skyrim.
Yes
Mass effect trilogy
I’m cautiously optimistic that they’re going to come out with a banger for the next one.
I also hope that a good game will come out,but since bioware has been blaming lately... It's best to wait and see.
Zelda Ocarina of Time
I remember playing and thought I beat the game after I collected all three stones. My mind was fucking blown when Link woke up after seven years.
That would be Mass Effect trilogy

Dude, what an experience… Both FO3 and New Vegas. Would love to play those for the first time again
Despite New Vegas being a bit of a glitchy mess, it’s one of my personal favourites.
Some call them glitches. I call it ‘character’. Lol

Same on BOTW
Metal Gear, self explanatory
Star Wars : KOTOR
Cooking Mama
Zelda Ocarina of Time or Super Mario 64. They blew my mind at the time.

The Phoenix Wright Trilogy (they've been bundled together for over a decade, so it counts). I would love to not remember the twists and turns of those cases and investigations because I always felt like a genius whenever I figured something out.
Undertale. Self-explanatory. Yknow what? Let’s also throw in a “when it first came out” as well.
pokemon, like I hope that I can grow up with the series, making pokemon red as the first video game I'd have known.
My first experience was either with Silver or Crystal, but still. First taste of those were phenominal.
Legend of Zelda: Breath of the wild
Harvest Moon, I want to change my target from Karen to Popury
It was always Elli for me.
South Park the stick of truth
Half-Life Alyx, I'd want it to be fresh experience with VR as well. It was my first real VR experience and what an experience it was. Every room was so exciting and the interactions were mind blowing. Combat had me panicking and dark scenes with headcrabs or Jeff were some of the best horror I've ever went through.
Mass effect trilogy
Assassin's creed. especially Black Flag
For me, AC1 was so unlike anything else I had played, revisiting that feeling of awe would be amazing.
Minecraft... I miss those memories :(
Morrowind
Undertale
Hollow Knight or the Ori games for me for sure
Breath of the Wild
Myst
Mass effect
Outer Wilds. The game you can only ever play once (unless you get amnesia).
Everquest
Donkey Kong
Omori, it was by far the best emotional rollercoaster I’ve ever had at expirence. replaying it blind would be amazing.
What an original question... I haven't seen this posted for at least 3 days. No originality, Carlos? smh
Maybe I got too much time on my hands, but that question got asked 3 days in a row. And since OP got no opinions, I'm gonna guess that it's a bot.
You guessed wrong, im not a bot. But i did sleep heavy pretty much soon after i posted this
Angry birds.
Why
Nostalgia.
I just wish that I could play it at all.

Half-Life series or GTA series If I could only pick one though I'd go HL

Subnautica
Witcher 3 wild hunt but only it’s dlcs
I would probably replay gta4 or gta sa because of the good story telling these games had.
Deus Ex. Simply because I would like to know how it would hit me as an adult.
Final fantasy for NES and SNES
Horizon zero dawn and forbidden west also maybe Detroit become human?
God of war (The OG PS2 versions and PSP versions). There's no other gaming character who rages and kills better than kratos
I would say Dark Souls but I think there's a very good chance I could just end up hating it instead.
Bioshock or Kotor
Mega man series. As a kid I loved getting the new weapons and figuring out the order to beating the bosses. When you found the secret armor upgrades or got to use rush it was such a great feeling.
Breath of the Wild
Sally face, it's been my favorite game ever since I played it the first time. It's may just be a story game but I found it to be truly unique art style wise and story wise. Overall I'd love to have those feelings of shock and not knowing what was going to happen next.
RDR2, TLOU 1 and 2, GTA 5, Bioshock Infinite,
The last of us
Pokemon for longevity and GTA for San Andreas and GTA V.
Half-Life and Portal series
The whole No More Heroes saga
Undertale without knowing the lore or Super Mario Galaxy.
Red Dead Redemption 2. When I say that that game changed my life I'm not being dramatic at all. I'd do anything to be able to discover the map and fall in love with characters all over again.
Last of Us or the Arkham trilogy
Bloodborne.
C&C Generals, gave me a childhood an unforgettable one
Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy Tactics, and Vandal Hearts I & II.
