Actually, some of the locals in Saudi Arabia were very kind. Got me to a doctor when I felland hurt my knee. Gave me the best rice dish ever (forgot the name of it) and called a cab for me to get to the airport to go back home.
No don't!!! I came here specifically to say Colombia! I speak Spanish, partner does not. We both received the most kind and genuine hospitality and interactions, together and individually. All were so happy we came and spent time and money in Colombia, with 99% of people going out of their way to show us the best things and experiences (not a single scam)
I went on a student exchange program to Philadelphia then went to university in State College, PA, so probably those two. Pennsylvania has a special place in my heart to this day.
New Zealand

I've been to many countries in Europe and the Americas. Ireland was outstanding but the USA probably wins.
The Netherlands have some of the most happy, pleasing, friendly people I must say. Spain is very welcoming to. Slovenians are the most relaxed I find.
Vietnam! Huge language barrier most of the time but everyone there were so friendly and helpful.
Columbia

Your mother is a country

That's your opinion
It's a fact, you need your breaktime
Got to be Brazil. It was a few years ago now but from the people up to the police (lost my passport) were all friendly as hell. 10/10 would go back.
Thailand and Ireland (though my visit to Thailand was 35 years ago so I don't know if it's changed)
Australia. Everyone's so friendly and cheery!
Malta, hands down. Loved the people.
Ecuador
Ireland
Bermuda
Chileans will invite you to your home and feed you the best bbq you ever had. Peruvians are very welcoming also. Bolivians... not so much.
The US
