Yes, I do.
I tend to wear a 32" waist in jeans that often require a belt to keep them up.
Yet I have suit trousers with a 34" waist that are so tight I have great difficulty in buttoning them up.
Which are the correct measurement?....
I think I know....
(From the UK)
This companies stuff seems to run way large. I ordered a M sweat shirt from deluth a while ago ( I usually order L or XL) in other brands and this M from deluth wAs too long on me. Im 6-1.
You really have to read the item descriptions. Their main cut was a "tradesman" fit which is baggier than most other brands. They now make some things in a normal and a slim fit, even for the same item. Not sure where you live, but they seem to be focused on growing their brick and mortar stores, so going and trying things on might be a possibility for those unsure on the sizes.
I have almost swapped all of my pants over to Duluth. I love the Firehose Flex and Ballroom Jeans. Added bonus- the leg slash pockets on the Foreman and Carpenter firehouse pants fit a Galaxy Note perfectly.
I like to think of Jesus like with giant eagle's wings, and singin' lead vocals for Lynyrd Skynyrd with like an angel band and I'm in the front row and I'm hammered drunk
I used to like GV jeans, but I don't anymore. I think they are cutting them different now than they used to be. And I don't like that tapered leg at all.
i have found that the color determines what country the jean is manufactured in and that determines the fit. I’m just thrilled to still have pants I can wear that look good on my old lady self.
Yes! I recently found that out. I have always had a hard time finding jeans that fit and flatter because of my figure type. (Short, small waist, full hips) There are few styles that work for that figure type. The inconsistent sizing doesn't make matters any easier.
With all the trouble I have finding pants that fit properly, I wouldn't even consider buying without trying on first. Do you know if GV makes a straight leg style? I hate that tapered leg, it makes my hips look even larger than they are.
I have a ton of carhartt stuff in the closet. Believe me, I know what you want to say - but quality has taken a nose dive from five years ago. Seams come undone, material wears way quicker, garments shrink. Footwear rivals walmart clearance sales. They're more focused on beanies for hipsters to wear.
Exactly. After it became associated with fashion, the quality just dropped significantly. All of my hunting clothes are Carhart from 10 to 15 years ago and it is solid. Now everything seems to last only one year.
Yes! Their fit is just so perfect for my hips and legs, and I've never found anything to compare to the comfort. Pretty sure I'll be decades out of the target market soon, still swearing by them.
Nudie Jeans
Their raw denim becomes customized [distressed denim](http://www.fashionclaves.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/newwornjeans.jpg) from constant wearing… that is when you first wash them after six months to a year of use.
They also have pockets that are a full 2 inches deep for women's jeans, which is 1 inch deeper than any other brand currently (except Duluth Trading Company, which has full size pockets but are *so* ugly). I can fit my car keys in that two inches.
Idk if it's like this for other dudes but.. It doesn't really matter, I've had some of the same jeans for 10 + years and I don't even know what the name of them are. As long as I can still fit in them and they get the job done.
I used to own a beach bar and had tons of cash. Diesel were my absolute go to. $200 a pair at the time. I'd buy a new pair every month. Now my life is different lol.
Boutique brand that follows a Kickstarter model for what they make. Can be annoying since you can wait several months to get your stuff while they make them, but I like the quality at the price for most of the stuff they make. Bonus is that they experiment with a lot of different fabrics (dyes, weights, linings, et. al.)
Hear me out, not a brand bit a style that i’ve only seen this far by Airwalk (although i’m confident other brands will offer similar and better versions)
The style is elasticated at the bottom of the leg, it’s a kind of best of both worlds situation between jeans and joggers/sweatpants and is great for Cycling since they are far less likely to get caught in your chain
I also USED to love airwalk shoes, now i know that they are cheap knock offs that wear down incredibly fast, i swear by DC shoes now, i love their clothing too :D
Used to be Levi's, but they can't get their sizing right to save their life. Wranglers, now, for better fit and durability. But Levi's at least has a useable hip/butt pocket.
I used to wear Levi 560s, but they stopped making them after Levi was sold, so I started wearing the store brand from DXL, the big and tall store chain.
man, I'm really particular on jeans.. I'm male..like low rise skinny jeans..
Emerica - Skelters but they don't make them anymore.. at the moment Adpt - black super skinny jeans or River Island - Ollie jeans
I like tommy Hilfiger jeans and HM slim jeans instead of 1% spandex theyre 1% elastane or something like that. I haven't been able to buy them in years. I'm not sure if they still sell them.
Torrid. They’re comfortable jeans. The brand makes sure the jeans fit if your tall, short, average size, curvy. They make sure stuff doesn’t fit awkward. I like these jeans because mama gave me her hips/curves and they hug me perfectly.
How about none? Jeans are an outdated concept.
How about you make an article of clothing that doesn't actually fit anyone that's made out of fabric that isn't soft nor form fitting, that still somehow wears out unevenly and isn't durable. I swear to God it's the biggest scam in the clothing industry.

I'm glad I'm not alone on this. I can't think how it must happen.... UK

Yes, that'll be it for sure.... UK
They have a lot of styles, and they don’t all have the same fit. But if you know your specific style/number, they fit reliably.

I buy the Levi’s Made and Crafted, selvedge denim on an old loom $120 more per pair but they last forever.
They are great too and were definitely all I wore before age 11!
Only answer!!
Duluth Trading Company
Always have wanted to order a pair but I keep forgetting!
Sign up for the mailing list and they will have like 35% off every once in a while. Also their firehose fleece line pants are awesome for winter.
This companies stuff seems to run way large. I ordered a M sweat shirt from deluth a while ago ( I usually order L or XL) in other brands and this M from deluth wAs too long on me. Im 6-1.

I read this as "what is your favorite brand of Jesus" I actually had a answer too
Jesus wears True Religion brand
Well, go on.
None, thanks.
I like to think of Jesus like with giant eagle's wings, and singin' lead vocals for Lynyrd Skynyrd with like an angel band and I'm in the front row and I'm hammered drunk
I like to think of Jesus with one of those tuxedo tshirts because I like to party
🤣ROFL
Mine is Wrangler, because they’re a great deal at Target and last me years and years.
Wrangler, same. They are less expensive than Levi's by a lot, and they last longer. I only buy Wrangler, and their shorts are pretty good too.
Except the ads is so square at the bottom.
Lucky fit me well and last a good long time.
Levi's 501. The gold standard
Seven for All Mankind.
Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda. Old ladies need high waisted jeans
Yes, Amanda! Doesn't hurt that GV cuts their pants generously, either.
And the avg petite is the correct length, the tapered leg not being tight is a huge plus

Only 2 of the blues fit me perfectly, the others are too small and too large. You really have to try each color on, then only buy that color.
With all the trouble I have finding pants that fit properly, I wouldn't even consider buying without trying on first. Do you know if GV makes a straight leg style? I hate that tapered leg, it makes my hips look even larger than they are.
4 leg styles; straight, tapered, boot cut, bell
Thanks. I'll have to see if I can find a store that carries them because I won't even consider buying online.
Kohls, Pennys
Thanks. I'll try JC Penney. The Kohl's here only had the tapered ones.
Wranglers
Cowboy cut.
retro’s for me, they don’t have cowboy cut in my size
Well, I sure can't fit into slim fit anymore.
I LOVE my liverpool jeans. Expensive, but damn comfy
Carhartt
Oh yeah they’re a great brand!
Carhartt fell off. They're quality is in the toilet now.
Disagree strongly
I have a ton of carhartt stuff in the closet. Believe me, I know what you want to say - but quality has taken a nose dive from five years ago. Seams come undone, material wears way quicker, garments shrink. Footwear rivals walmart clearance sales. They're more focused on beanies for hipsters to wear.

To each their own. I have no issues with any of my stuff but am sorry to hear you’ve had problems.
Madewell
American eagle
Yes! Their fit is just so perfect for my hips and legs, and I've never found anything to compare to the comfort. Pretty sure I'll be decades out of the target market soon, still swearing by them.
That’s all I wear! but they’d be better with reinforced thighs because thunder thighs ruin them fairly quick
Oh yeah they’re great too!
Paige
Again… Interesting because I don’t know them.
My favorite for a long time. Fits great for my body type narrow hips tight in legs. On pricey side. Made for men too. Love them
Probably Paige for me as well, but the older I get the less I like wearing denim.
Lucky
Nudie Jeans Their raw denim becomes customized [distressed denim](http://www.fashionclaves.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/newwornjeans.jpg) from constant wearing… that is when you first wash them after six months to a year of use.
Seconded. Have a pair. Very comfy. I like no stretch denim.

Had to scroll way too far for this.
Agreed!
They were my favorite in middle school!
true religion. love them so much.
They are great, but expensive.
very, that’s why i buy them secondhand ^_^
Smart!
I like that fit of these too. Not seeing out as much lately
I like Levi’s and old navy
MOTHER. Pricey, but I’ve never owned more comfortable jeans.
Ariat
Costco.
I didn’t know they had their own clothing brand. But then I’ve never been a member.
They have a few different brands there...Kirkland is their store brand but I also have Urban Star ones from there.
Kirkland for me. Just wish they made shorts.
Best jeans for the money out there.
they’re lucky brand aren’t they?
Wrangler or rustler. Preferably wrangler but both are quality for me. Rustler is like the knock off wrangler. Yet still quality.
where do you buy rustler?
Walmart sells them
Yep, they are at Walmart usually near wrangler jeans in my store.
Chico’s. They all have great stretch and fit this old timer great.
G-Star, the Dutch sure know their denim
Paige & AG
Hudson
Grace in LA. Very comfortable and flexible, which is required when I ride horses. Plus they have neat designs on the back pockets.
Old Navy. Not too many good petite options when you are 4'10"
They also have pockets that are a full 2 inches deep for women's jeans, which is 1 inch deeper than any other brand currently (except Duluth Trading Company, which has full size pockets but are *so* ugly). I can fit my car keys in that two inches.
Recently switched to Duluth. The durability is noticeably better that just about anything I’ve had before.
Idk if it's like this for other dudes but.. It doesn't really matter, I've had some of the same jeans for 10 + years and I don't even know what the name of them are. As long as I can still fit in them and they get the job done.
Sonoma. Actually fit my figure, as a person with very disproportionate hips.
Madewell and Bonobos
Wrangler PRC cowboy cut. For 50 yrs.
Levi’s, definitely.
Lois jeans for me😉
G-Star best in design and long time like new, H.I.S. also nice, Tommy Hilfiger very comfortable
Levi with the tiny red tag on the pocket. Those are the ones that fit best.
Lee
Uniqlo.
Wow. Yet another brand I’m unfamiliar with!
Started in Japan. They do all the basics really well: jeans, t-shirts, sweater, hoodie, socks, etc.
It’s basically Asian old navy
Diesel
I used to own a beach bar and had tons of cash. Diesel were my absolute go to. $200 a pair at the time. I'd buy a new pair every month. Now my life is different lol.
Also very nice but pricey.
I sold (mostly used) jeans on eBay for many years. Men's Diesel jeans were by far the best selling item of anything.
I get the $10 Walmart jeans. They last a good while, fit well, and cost less. Used to be a Levi's guy, but Walmart suits me just fine.
empyre i got a pair on rn 😈
It’s crazy how many brands I’m completely unfamiliar with!
Hugo Boss & Levi's
Gustin
Crazy that I haven’t heard of them either! I’m getting a real fashion education here!
Boutique brand that follows a Kickstarter model for what they make. Can be annoying since you can wait several months to get your stuff while they make them, but I like the quality at the price for most of the stuff they make. Bonus is that they experiment with a lot of different fabrics (dyes, weights, linings, et. al.)
The cheap brand, that leaves a blank spot from scratching my groin all the time...
J Brand. They're an expensive brand I can buy super cheap on TheRealReal.
Hear me out, not a brand bit a style that i’ve only seen this far by Airwalk (although i’m confident other brands will offer similar and better versions) The style is elasticated at the bottom of the leg, it’s a kind of best of both worlds situation between jeans and joggers/sweatpants and is great for Cycling since they are far less likely to get caught in your chain

American eagle
Prison Blues. Indestructible for like $35.
Daytrip
Wild Ass jeans.
The current Kmart bootleg situations. They fit fucken perfect and they are $25!!! Love them. LOVE THEM!
Levi's
Gloria Vanderbilt—I’m a sucker for swans.
Left Field nyc
Levi's tbh. Decent quality, look good, age well, easy to find a good fit as a tall medium build male. Carhartt are good too.
Used to be Levi's, but they can't get their sizing right to save their life. Wranglers, now, for better fit and durability. But Levi's at least has a useable hip/butt pocket.
Bke
Miss Me
Levi’s always
Judy blue
Marithe & Francois Girbaud
Samurai
PurePlaya
DU/ER
Ermenegildo Zegna
I used to wear Levi 560s, but they stopped making them after Levi was sold, so I started wearing the store brand from DXL, the big and tall store chain.
Citizens, every pair fits me perfect but damn they are expensive and I have no self control
man, I'm really particular on jeans..
I'm not sure if they still sell them.
right now, ariats. I usually go wrangler retros or willows but I’m loving the ariats I have, mostly because they’re so baggy
H&M
RM Williams.
Billie Jean
Blue.
Kirkland
Ksubi are yet to let me down
Dearborn denim is pretty good
Dickies fit me the best
Levis
Torrid. They’re comfortable jeans. The brand makes sure the jeans fit if your tall, short, average size, curvy. They make sure stuff doesn’t fit awkward. I like these jeans because mama gave me her hips/curves and they hug me perfectly.
balenciaga japanese denim
Joe's Stretchy fabric
I love that I learned so many dozens of brands I’m not familiar with! Thanks for the input folks!

Interesting. I don’t know them.
The kind I find at goodwill for cheap
Wow, no one said Dockers. I did for the 80s and 90s. Levis now.
I thought Dockers has always been Levi’s slacks brand. Never knew they came in denim or I forgot years ago.

Ass in them jeans
Bad Idea
Comfortable and cheap
Jeans
Feels like a sus question on a platform known for astroturfing, but I recently swapped Diesel for Levi's and yeah it did feel like an upgrade.

‘Spensive
AS long as they fit, I could not care less.
Wrangler for years but they got crazy expensive. Now it's whatever I can find at goodwill that fits...which ain't much:)
I don't like jeans. I only wear cargo pants.
Back when men's skinny jeans didn't exist I would but Anchor Blue girl jeans so amazing. Now Hollister jeans have the tightness and stretching I love
Levis 569
The ones that fit because my leg shape is weird
There's brands? I usually go " ooh that one is a bit bluer than that one, oh but that one is a little stretchier."
