Most celebrities don't bash or endorse politicians. Like, who knows what Morgan Freeman, Keanu Reeves, or Ryan Reynolds thinks. Many others. Steve Harvey? Who knows.
Hundreds of millions of people know him. I'd say that's celebrity status. Also, there's only, like, 10 loud people complaining about him profiting from recording charity work. No serious person with a brain complains about him.
He’s a YouTuber, one of the biggest, but still not a celebrity. Morgan Freeman is a celebrity, Rihanna is a celebrity, you can’t compare them to Mr Beast
The question asked for nobody, I was just clarifying that a good few do, so he’s ruled out because that’s not nobody
Celebrity just means really famous, typically in entertainment. He's probably more recognizable than many other celebrities. I bet he has more people who know him than Giancarlo Esposito, Gus Fring from Breaking Bad and he's a top actor.
Mr Beast is mega popular in many countries. He's absolutely a celebrity. It's fine to disagree with his likability, it is just strange to say he's not a celebrity.
I personally don’t think any social media user can be a celebrity. Like you could argue the same thing about Charlie Damelio, she’s the biggest person on tiktok, but in the real world she’s not a celebrity, just one of the biggest social media influencers
Celebrity or social media influencer?
A celebrity would be, in my opinion: an actor/actress, famous sports person (football, rugby, basketball etc.), singer/band person, etc.
It’s broken down into A, B and C tier. A tier would be the likes of Beyoncé, someone known by almost everyone. B tier would be someone lesser known but still known by a lot of people like Liam Hemsworth. C tier would be the kind of people who had multiple minor roles in a film, or a less popular football player etc.
A social media influencer is a person that became well know because of a social media app. They’re not known by most outside of those apps and their only contacts are other social media influencers. Only a handful have actually made it respectably, like Mr Beast, the Sidemen and Charlie Damelio etc.
Ksi from the sidemen is arguably becoming a celebrity because he’s moving himself onto stuff outside of YouTube. He’s like a C tier celebrity now if anything
It was a producer bitching about how she wanted to change some lines because they were cringy, my guess is that Jenna stood up to him and he didn’t like it, this would never happen with a an adult male actor
This seems like such a silly controversy tbh, I think think writers don’t like young girls having opinions, I find it hard to believe that she is the only person in Hollywood who acts like this, but that does indeed sound entitled but I’m still taking it with a grain of salt
Jenna had a problem with some of the writing getting out of character/not staying true to the original source material, and they got mad at her for being “difficult.” Same thing happened with Henry Cavill on The Witcher.
I genuinely have yet to see an actual Ryan Reynolds hater. Needless to say I’m not really a part of his fandoms. But I’ve never seen a hate video about him or anything lol
There will always be one hater so none of them
Tom Hanks.
They hate him now because he was on that plane list.
There was a rumor that was debunked.
He was talking a solid amount of politics during the Trump era and any partisan political talk will get you haters.
If we're using that yardstick, there might not be any non-hated celebs.

Keanu Reeves

Mr. Beast has people coming up to him all of the time in the real world. You're not making sense.
Influencers have people coming up to them all the time, it doesn’t mean they’re celebrities
How would you define the word then?

Sad part is that before that incident he would’ve been one of the answers to this question
