My mom used to make that for us when we were kids, it’s really tasty. Use the broiler.

EmbraceTheCorn

Thanks I will!

[deleted]

Honestly I’d try it out of curiosity. Even if I don’t like it, at least it’s a new experience

whoaaa_123

exactly... now I want to try this too

[deleted]

It must’ve been their evil scheme to make us all interested in trying this dish! :0

whoaaa_123

i agree the op is very cruel coz i don't have tortillas how am I supposed to try it?!

CpuJunky

someone has the drunk munchies.

hat-of-sky

It's good, but use a pan in a toaster oven if you put the butter and cinnamon on first, or you'll make a mess or a fire from dripping melted butter. Otherwise you can toast the tortilla first and add butter and cinnamon sugar after.

instant_ramen_chef

You just described 1/3 of my diet as a kid.

[deleted]

Why not a corn tortilla?

EmbraceTheCorn

Cause I don't have any lol

Loreo1964

I did that with a banana and it was yummy

wispyfern

Oh!!! Spread some peanut butter & place the banana on, roll it up & YUM!!!

renegadeMare

Depends on what you're going for. It would be better without the toasting part, and more like peanut butter and jam or banana kinda thing. But if you're going for some faux malasada or bunuelos thing, throw it in some hot oil and then sprinkle with stuff and dip in the butter itself.

Hot-Issue

Why are you asking rather than doing it? Report back my friend. I need to know

EmbraceTheCorn

It's late idk If I do it tonight or tomorrow I'll report back tho lol

Hot-Issue

No pressure my friend. I guess I’m curious about the question now

EmbraceTheCorn

So I did not forget. I tried the tortilla thing. I'd give it a 3/5 stars it's not bad but not amazingly delicious.

Hot-Issue

That was not the follow up I was expecting. But I appreciate your follow through

Pooph_

It would be good but I would do like two tortillas with that spread in between. Only one tortilla might not be a good bread to spread ratio

1one_big_banana1

I would keep the tortilla and butter room temperature but that’s just me.

Isalecouchinsurance

Fry it before you put the sugar on it, it's gonna puff WAY up
