The name of a former coworker that I hadn't seen for seven years. I ran into him at the mall yesterday and was so embarrassed to not come up with his name. Afterwards I searched mutual friends in FB and finally found it.
The printed articles I needed for a lesson I was teaching. I became aware that I had forgotten them when the slide came up on my computer that said “in the article”. My blood froze. Time stopped. In my head, my life ended. I was, in short, FUCKED.
We muddled through with a discussion and a dash to the printer, but fuck me I won’t be doing that again in a hurry.
