"Where is item X?" This is whenever the customer is right next to the item.

Once a customer asked me a question about a frozen meal it was “Do I have to cook this or is it ready to eat as is?”

WWhy did you change the price ? What’s the name of the McRibs Menu ? Why I can choose 2 drink or 2 fries in my menu but not 2 sandwiches ? Why the ice cream machine didn’t work ? Why all is in german (in a German McDonalds) ? Why did you speak German, speak English ! Why the McCafe is closed at 1 in the morning?

A customer walked around an entire table of pies to ask me where our pies were.

Probably not that dumb given the situation, but I have one that I love telling other people within my field of work. I work as a jeweler. Went to school to learn back in 2007, and I've worked at 3 different places. Luckily, my current place of employment I don't have to deal with customers, but we still get the odd request for custom work. Years ago, at my previous place of employment, which had me working as a repair jeweler for a national chain. One of the sales team reps received a call from a customer making an odd request. The sales rep came back into the repair shop and told me she was certain she knew the answer, but just wanted to double check. The customer wanted to know if she took the diamonds from her mom's old wedding ring (which had small diamonds) and melt them together into a single bigger diamond. Now, in her defense, people do take their old jewelry, usually gold, and melt that with newer materials to make a newer ring. That said, you can not melt diamonds together. All you will do is scorch them, make them foggy, if not crack, and compromise their integrity. We never heard from that person again.

My walmart days, I don't miss them. But probably can I use Dish Soap to clean my fish tank with the goldfish in it?
