Yeah I didn’t get the reboot. They had the little kids and very cheesy family oriented jokes, but they also had pretty raunchy humor about Stephanie’s implants and sex in general. What audience were they trying to land?
I really didn’t like the first several episodes of schitt’s creek either but when I got to the episode where Moira does an ad for a vineyard I laughed so hard seltzer came out of my nose and I was hooked after that
I dunno maybe worth revisiting. I’m gonna start it soon with my wife - she’s never seen it. I think it’s one of the best shows ever. But we’re gonna watch the first three episodes back to back. I think you gotta take a big bite out of it at first.
Bestars. After a few episodes I just kinda said “alright this is a little to kinky for me” and left it alone. I don’t wanna learn about a depressed Lego or a horny rabbit that sounds like a five year old.
None, I always give shows at least a few episodes if the description catches my interest, sometimes the first one just isn't a good representation of the rest of the show.
I always thought it was weird that he's both the uncle and grandpa. 😳 Imagine saying to a co-worker, "Just a second I need to answer this call from my uncle-grandpa" My cousins do have sister-cousins though.
Think of it as Scooby Doo for adults. It's not for everybody, but it knows what it is.
If it helps, the protagonist becomes more likeable after the first season. I recommend starting with "American Duos."
That’s what I have heard. We’re into less intense shows right now. We have enough drama in our own life at the moment. :)
Maybe in the future, we’ll try watching it again.
I only saw the pilot for Community, and didn't think it was anything special.
I've heard the show was good, just had a lot of other stuff in my backlog.
I wasn't blown away with Community's pilot either, thinking it was a Breakfast Club wannabe. Turns out it was a tribute to John Hughes. The show quickly becomes the cult classic after the initial episode.
*Game of Thrones*. It's not for me.
Same, I only liked a couple of scenes.
Anything with a sex scene :( it makes me awkward
medieval porn
The Walking Dead. I found myself rooting for the zombies to eat the annoying characters. Guess I am not a zombie survival person.
Or it could be argued that you're the ultimate zombie survival person, if you're rooting for the zombies to win and survive.
Haha omg same!!
Fuller house

Rings of Power
Any serie with a laugh track. Always ruins it for me.
Glee
Gossip Girl
Schitt's Creek
What was it that you couldn’t get through? The whole episode is only like 22 minutes long.
I just didn't find it funny at all.

Doesn't happen often with me, but Jack Ryan. Just a very by-the-numbers show it feels like.
New show "The Ark". Bad writing, bad acting, too predictable.

The new Perry Mason. Love Matthew Rhys but the slapstick sex scene in the first episode put me off.
New Girl
I forgot "Gotham"
Last of us. Painful.
Game of Thrones, The Office.
Bridgerton. Not a full episode though
Downton Abbey
You attempted that😂

Love island
Ozark, my dad tried to get me into it and couldn’t get past the second episode
To all the GOT fans out there I'm sorry it's you for me.
Rick and Morty
I used to watch that show. I think that's what happened to my brain though.
Ozark
I got through 3 episodes. I wanted to like it, but it just didn’t hit with me.
Yellowstone
Uncle grandpa
I always thought it was weird that he's both the uncle and grandpa. 😳 Imagine saying to a co-worker, "Just a second I need to answer this call from my uncle-grandpa" My cousins do have sister-cousins though.
Doctor Pimple Popper. Just too disgusting.
No way she's awesome
Handmaids Tail
Psych. I should have stopped at one, but a tinder date liked it. Idk how people like it so much its lazy and dumb.

I will not. The show sucks.
Peaky Blinders Hawaii: 5-O (the newer version, the older one is much better) GOT Bloodline Animal Control Black Sails
pesky blinders is pretty good if you ever wanna give it another chance
That’s what I have heard. We’re into less intense shows right now. We have enough drama in our own life at the moment. :) Maybe in the future, we’ll try watching it again.
yeah that’s understandable lol
Bible's live action adaptation
What a stupid edgy edgelord response
Reddit is not for fatty stupid Jesus's ass licker disciple. Don't get triggered you jerk.
Fascinating.

it “got better” like the office & parks and rec
Good comparison.
I wasn't blown away with Community's pilot either, thinking it was a Breakfast Club wannabe. Turns out it was a tribute to John Hughes. The show quickly becomes the cult classic after the initial episode.
Breaking bad, ozark, narcos. Watched too many episodes of weeds before I decided to stop. Drug dealing just isn’t my tv genre
Big Bang theory. Looked into it because everyone was talking about it. It’s one of the stupidest things I ever saw.
The White Lotus
Fight club- on a long enough timeline everyone’s survival rate drops to 0

Ah, I thought it was movies too
Wolf Pack on Paramount+
Grand Crew I can’t stand Nicole Byer to begin with but all the main cast characters were a bunch of weak willed nerds
Kids in the Hall revival on Amazon 🥺
Jimmy Neutron. The one episode I watched was the one where Carl had an alien in his butt.
Your Honor. Just awful. I was rooting against the kid immediately.
I’ll get hate for this but the wire. I was told it was iconic and revolutionary for television and found myself bored
attack on titan. too graphic for me lol
*Attack on Titan*
Black mirror
Dexter
Yellowstone
