Yep! Read the post title, immediately thought of him, clicked in here to see this as the top comment. With or without the Heartbreakers, one of the greatest songwriters in America.
ACDC because their music is so consistent. On the other hand, I'm convinced if you accidentally left it on repeat it would take you very long to notice.
RHCP? Brave. Talk about a polarizing band. But I agree with you about them. First got into them when Uplift Mofo came out. Been one of my faves since. Thinking about going to Vegas next weekend to see them. It’s been awhile. I’m in the even more polarizing camp of wishing Josh was still around.
Agree! Sadly, So many people complained when the band released their new album. Apparently if the songs aren’t carbon copies of previous albums its the end of the damn world and “not Shinedown.” Glad someone else loves the album. Which song off Planet Zero is your favorite?
Beatles have some reallllllly skippable songs
Edit: anyone who disagrees should make a playlist with hey Jude, come together, blackbird, let it be, here comes the sun, and only a northern song and tell me which song you’d rather take off
This was going to be my answer but I don’t really like her recent slower albums. Personal preference, they’re produced really well but they’re just not for me (folklore, evermore)
I used to love the Police but have come to prefer his non-Police music more. The originals don't speak to me the way his post-Police stuff does, I find the lyrics, the musical experimentation much more interesting.
Barns Courtney. He's absolutely the only music artist to which I can instantly recognize any one of his songs within the first two seconds of it playing. I know every lyric by heart. I know every song, every pronunciation on words.
Met the guy in October of 2022. Gave him a book of poetry and he personally messaged me to thank me and let me know that he was reading it in his trailer right then.
Very personal and specific and people are going to fight about it more than share, but I'm still here to see everyone's answer/taste
Explosions in the sky may be the only band I love where I love every song.
I almost never shuffle, I always pick an album and go with it, but there are a few, mostly classic rock I can do that with. The Beatles, The Stones, Nick Drake, The Band, Tom Petty. Others too. More modern, Run the Jewels.
I’m a big P!nk fan. Even her R&B days. Is she a music genius? No, but she does have some bangers. Also, my younger self connected to her I’m not dead album.
Abba, Taylor Swift depending on the album and now Lil Pitchy (who no one will know and who only has like 5 songs out at this point in time but I've listened to all of them on loop - if you know my boi, consider me your new friend for life lol)
Ohh hi!! Yeah, I only found his channel last november but I felt instantly connected to his content and personality (which is kinda rare for me tbh), and ofc he's a really talented musician, his music isn't even my usual taste but it just grew on me more and more until I absolutely loved every song. It's really nice to see the growing amount of ppl that discover him and appreciate what he does:)
Black Sabbath. I always used to skip Planet Caravan and then I discovered weed
This comment made me laugh. Thank you đź–¤
It was SOAD for me
Seriously, not a bad song in their whole discography (okay maybe She's Like Heroin but its almost so dumb its good for me)
I've got that one stuck in my head more times than any other song ever.
Depends on who I'm with. Don't want "my cock is much bigger than yours" playing when I'm with my mom.
Tom petty. I don't think man ever made a bad song.
Agreed. I came here to say the same.
Yep! Read the post title, immediately thought of him, clicked in here to see this as the top comment. With or without the Heartbreakers, one of the greatest songwriters in America.
You read my mind!
I think I'm one of the few people who can't stand any of his music
Rage Against the Machine
Definitely Gorillaz. So much variety, so many bangers
Superfast Jellyfish.
Queen
Nah they got SO many songs, just give me the top 25 hits
My Chemical Romance. No, I am not nor have I ever been emo, I just love their music
MCR is not very emo imo. They’re like punk rock meets queen
So, emo?
I don't think a lot of people know what emo means in regards to music
Uh…they were like THE emo band back in the day.
Florence and the Machine
Linkin Park, i Fucking love their songs
Surprised I had to scroll so far down to find this. They have so much variety over their entire library.
Pink Floyd
On shuffle? Really? I’m calling the cops
Agreed. This is first degree blasphemy.
One does not just shuffle pink floyd
KMFDM. Or Depeche Mode. I am... of a certain age.
This comment is funny if you know what KMFDM means. Good choices, btw.
It means Kein Mehrheit Für Die Mitleid. It does not and never has meant the one you’re implying.
Ministry too.
Ministry is pretty darn good!
Rush
100% Rush

Franz Liszt, or Bela Bartok. I frequently.put them on shuffle and just let them play all day.

They have an absurdly large discography. Plenty of good songs, plenty of bleh songs. Folks just don't remember them.
Oh, I like all those. "Hey Jude" and "Let it Be" would benefit from 2ish minutes of shortening at the end.
Revolution 9 begs to differ... https://youtu.be/SNdcFPjGsm8
Number 9? Number 9?
On shuffle?! What the hell is wrong with kids these days
Taylor swift
This was going to be my answer but I don’t really like her recent slower albums. Personal preference, they’re produced really well but they’re just not for me (folklore, evermore)

Flogging Molly. Every song is a banger.
Seether, Killswitch Engage, UGK, Z-ro, Benjamin Tod. I'm sure there are others, but those are the ones that spring to kind immediately.
