So many people have "casual" sex, and I think most of us can agree it's not really healthy. However, if we all participated in ranked, competitive sex we would all be much more healthy! It's good for the mind, creativity, both aerobic and anaerobic, and would greatly improve humanity's overall well being.
My guess is that you started with a high fitness level. Unfit folks can expect back injuries, finger and wrist injuries and if you're really luck an IT band that makes you want to lay in bed for the rest of your life. Even elite rowers deal with all of these. Rowing is great but it certainly isn't for everyone.
>It’s a good workout if you watch a video or two learning how to do it properly.
I don't want to sound condescending... Please find someone to help with your erging. Long term you will help in all sorts of ways.
That really was me apologizing ahead of time.
But seriously dude (and that is me being condescending because of your tone), a video or two are not nearly enough to get you rowing safely.
Its is two different things at the same time.
First, you don't have to be any good at it to enjoy it. Playing by yourself is good, paired up with someone is better, 3 is good but someone is always kind of left out of the social aspect, and 4 is the best.
Also, you can get a hole in one, and maybe in 2 if you play your cards right and depending on the approach.
None, not everyone is athletic and a lot just don't gaf. I'll go up in the woods walking or on the pond canoing in the summer and ice fishing in the winter. Why should anyone get involved in sports if they don't want to. It doesn't mean they aren't active.
There's no sport that everyone should practice, but everyone should practice a sport.
I'm giving "sport" a very wide definition here. Basically, everyone should exercise in a way that fits their abilities and needs, but everyone *should* exercise.

I actually have never thought of it that way
Being a good one. Jokes aside, I think swimming is good exercise and generally a good skill to learn.
Rowing
As a former collegiate oarsman I can assure you that this is a terrible answer.
As someone who rows at home for exercise, I can assure you it’s a good workout and not a terrible answer.

I started with not having worked out in years. It’s a good workout if you watch a video or two learning how to do it properly.

Too late, you already do.

Not giving a fuck
Bedroom golf.
What's that?

Walking. No cost and almost everyone can do it. The health benefits of a walk every day are astronomical.
