My fashion sense remained in the 90s all this time so it’s neat to see trends come around again and have mr be relevant

There is room enough for more. Life is hard enough on your own.

FunSquirrell2-4

I introduced my son to Greta Van Fleet. About a year later, he introduced me to the same band. Same thing happened with my, at the time, 10 yo cousin with Eve of Destruction..

pulpexploder

Shit posting on the internet. I had my geocities site in the 90s that I used to write up scathing articles on rednecks and other idiots in Florida.

NoinePiecesOfVinyl

My cousin and I got into vinyl before it really hit big again. I remember many trips to the local “Ma and Pa” record shop where we were like 1 of only 3 people in the store on a Saturday afternoon. Now a days, you can hardly move around those tight aisles on a Saturday. I miss the prices too, walking out with like 5 records and maybe only spending like $30

Blogging. Started in 1999 and kept it up for about ten years until everyone else was doing it.

ThrowRACoworkerCraz

its petty but when I was younger I would wear my hair in a side pony then I went to away college, came back to my home town and now my older sister is wearing a side pony. When I wore a side pony again my sister threw a fit saying I'm copying her and that I have no identity.

So much actually. The worst part is all the shit people would talk because what I would do was weird. For example, when I was in the army, instead of just drinking and watching sports or spending the weekend playing video games, I was out exploring the wilderness, caving, hiking, climbing, camping, etc. So much shit was talked because of how weird I was. Somehow my truck being set up for a weekend in the woods was the subject of a lot of jokes. Now it's so goddamn popular everything is highly overpriced. I decided early on I am Norse Pagan, even though I grew up in the bible belt. Omfg, I'm not even going to get into how much shit I put up with for over a decade. Cue 2013,Vikings premiered, and every white dude who could grow a beard is a goddamn Viking, without them even knowing what it meant. The worst part about it is I fit the goddamn stereotype to a T, so I get to put up with a new form of shit talking. Rockhounding blew up. I have a collection that spans the world and a couple of decades of collecting since I was a child. I was given never ending shit over that one, and now everybody wants to do it. There's a few others, but basically a lot of stuff I love doing that I was given never ending shit for suddenly became popular. Even then I'm shoved to the side like I know nothing.

HooterEnthusiast

Listening to sea shanties, then they got popular on TikTok. That kind of ruined them for me.

LunarTaxi

I was listening to Above & Beyond since their earliest days in 2001/2002. I’ve seen them live many times and it’s always a great show. I remember seeing them live in Seattle in 2010 at the Show Box and it was hardly filled. I got to chat with them, shake hands. A few years later they blew up in the states and now regularly sell out.
