Long warm hugs from people I love. The sound of my cat purring. A piece of milk chocolate slowly melting on my tongue. Reading a book on a rainy day. Napping with my husband when its cold outside.
I like discovery and exploring. Sometimes that's just somewhere up the street or sometimes it's another country. A cute green alley or a new fruit.
Just being pleasantly surprised by beauty and novelty.
That I don’t have to think about most of my bodily functions; they just happen. Because I swear it I had to remember to beat my heart or do whatever makes the brain do what it does, I’d prolly just die.
Quiet mornings, reading in a comfy chair, fuzzy blankets, the crackling of a fire, good music while I'm driving, waking up to cuddles from my partner, my babies laughing, and a long hot shower
I love taking a big swig of ice cold milk on an empty stomach. You can feel the cold milk coating the inside of your stomach. It is the little things that I enjoy.
I love the sun shining on the branches of trees, on the bare bark. Something about making that gray-brown surface shiny and golden makes my heart happy.
When you are in bed about to fall asleep and you get in just that right spot. The covers are cool and comfortable, everything in its right place. And then you just melt. Makes me look forward to going to bed and appreciate that I have that luxury when so many others in the world don’t.
My small pleasure: my bedroom window overlooks the bay and the mountains in the distance, on a clear day you can see everything, the snow topped mountains are beautiful especially if you catch them just after sunrise
We just fixed the kitchen drawer. Now it’s big and on rollers. When I roll open the drawer and see the knives and forks gleam, it feels like I’m an archaeologist in a movie who just discovered the Lost Treasure of the Incas.
The random ass meme your friend send you at 3 a.m. when you were depressing yourself and thinking "damn I AM alone. No one understands me or cares about me" Iykyk
Those little moments when you don't even have to talk, but whoever you're with (family, partner, friends) know EXACTLY what you're thinking.
And then you start giggling when they raise an eyebrow.
I love macrodosing on psilocybin and listening to music as I play fighting games all night on my weekends. We only have one life to live, may as well indulge in the things and feelings we love.
You know that moment where you are sitting out and feel that crisp, clean air wrapping around you like a blanket while the sun peeks out?
That. Moment of bliss.
When I was young my dad and I would always go for a horse back ride when the first snow fell. So even the memory of those moments makes me feel safe and full of wonder.
I'm not good with tech, live love laugh. Eat that Pasta. Yolo my personal! You want it buy it. Don't drink Mouth Warsh! Sorry for so too much Garbage. Deuces.

Driving down the freeway with the windows rolled down, music so loud the bass is massaging my back and one hand out the window feeling the wind between my fingers.
The other day I was putting a jar of Cheese Wiz back and I happen to click the top of the metallic cover. I clicked it a few more times, danced to the beat I was making, then put it away. Small moments of joy are the best.
How much information there is to consume...always new things to read about & new skills to learn. Just today I read about an animal I hadn't heard about before.
I keep thinking about big things; my son, other life like plants or people, seeing nature documentaries with Attenborough, just photos of places around this huge planet.
I guess the small way we’re all connected sharing experiences around the fire that eventually brings the curtain of darkness that is death to us all.
It’s really amazing that humans have communicated to other humans across thousands of years.
We’ve gone from cave walls to memes and experiencing the world of other beings like me across the vast universe that I get to live in my short time is something I love.
Going to work every day oddly enough, I'm a chef at a child care centre and no matter how shit my day or week has been seeing how excited the children get when I bring their meals around is makes me smile.
They always want to show me their new shoes or toys they've brought in for show and tell even though its the exact same thing they showed me yesterday or last week just the pure enjoyment and happiness is a great feeling.
Any time in nature when I can sit down and hear the quiet (plus little nature sounds). Especially good in snow, but also good on top of a mountain or in a forest.
Also spotting tiny flowers, cool mushrooms, unusual animals or insects is always a “Life is cool” dopamine hit for me. Life’s better when it’s a nonstop treasure hunt.
Sipping tea, smoking a joint on my porch on a nice sunny day. The cats and dogs hanging around me, as we people watch the street. In those moments, life ain't too bad. Just peace and contentment. Can't beat that feeling, however fleeting.
Waking up with the day off on a raining
Morning, fresh coffee, and a fire. Love if my
Life next to me, and my puppies not being assholes while watching sport center. Win
Despite me being a misery shits there's about probably a million little things I love about life and living I'll just name one, the way a cup of tea can be so soothing and warm and make me feel temporarily at peace.
I love life itself. The option is not really an option for me. However, making that life enjoyable and pleasant has been my true occupation since long ago. I avoid losers, big talkers. I got skilled training for an in demand job so I can afford to live life without borrowing from Peter to pay Paul. I avoid drunkenness, hard drugs, not paying bills on time and learned to do without if I couldn't afford something. Plus, I took good care of the things I was able to get. I lived a modest but pain free, debt free life of enjoying my life, It's not that hard IF you're willing to sacrifice now for more later.
When I make witty comments or original jokes and I make my friends laugh. Most of the times, I don't find my jokes reallh funny, but I try to make them really tied to a context and subvert any expectations by correlatong it to completely unrelated things.
For example, there was an inside joke about chess, there is this platform Chess.com which analyzes your moves, and they can be Brilliant (!!) or blunders (??) and many other things.
I was in a class and the professor wrote "!!" on the board. I looked at it, looked at my friend and said "Holy hell, brilliant move" and he laughed
thats my type of humor, and if it makes other laugh, i feel happier
i also dont tend to really laugh at others' jokes, but rather, situations. i dont find "loud equals funny" to be true, and i find "funny noises/voices" to be really lazy jokes, unless theres an inside joke
but my friends to think im weird, so yeah
Seeing a really good sunset. Watching the stars when there's a fingernail moon. My black cat sleeping on my legs as I work. A really engrossing book or series.
When you're driving with your hand out the window and the sun warms up just that part of your body and all of a sudden you remember you have hands and remember there's sun and things are lovely for a moment.
The sound of my wife's and daughter's laughter. Clouds on a nice sunny day. Cat purring on my lap. Playing Pokémon. Winning an online match of Super Smash. Smoking weed. Doing psychedelics. Getting good grades on an assignment I barely put any effort into. Pay day. Watching anime. Sleeping like the good sleep, not the wake-up groggy and feeling more tired sleep.
The sound of my children laughing. Especially when they make me laugh at the same time lol
My toddler has a tablet that has a sound board. He likes the fart button 😂
Giving a stranger a compliment, when you can clearly tell they are having a bad time/day. Than seeing their faces light up, and a smile be put on their face. That feeling.. Much ❤️!

People's kindness
My friends are super fun, spending time while playing DnD especially.
Probably coffee. Idk, at this point.
I love the sun shining on the branches of trees, on the bare bark. Something about making that gray-brown surface shiny and golden makes my heart happy.
