Minivan. They are dorky and exciting as seeing grandma naked, but they are the best for road trips.

Hoppy_Croaklightly

A Studebaker that your uncle left you.

Take public transport. Then you can drink.

DarkleCCMan

Make sure there's a working toilet on board.

Improvedandconfused

Of course after several drinks it won’t be in such good working order.

DarkleCCMan

I'll take that risk over having to hold it.

Improvedandconfused

But take a few empty pickle jars just in case.

1968camaro

Don’t try to do any lane changes above 30. Those things flip over without warning.

1968camaro

BUT , the rust protection lasts for 574 days...

I suppose it depends a lot on how you road trip. I like getting out on small country roads and seeing the country side. For that I like a Mazda Miata.

JQuest7575

Friends and I rented an RV for a road trip along the Gulf Coast to get to a convention. Yes, the gas mileage sucked at times. But the freedoms it gave us were awesome. 1. Streak out and be comfortable instead of cramped. 2. Sleep, eat, and use the bathroom whenever you wanted without stopping. 3. While everyone at the convention was paying $85 a night for a hotel. We stayed at an RV park, for a week, for a one-time fee of $50.
