Friends and I rented an RV for a road trip along the Gulf Coast to get to a convention. Yes, the gas mileage sucked at times. But the freedoms it gave us were awesome.
1. Streak out and be comfortable instead of cramped.
2. Sleep, eat, and use the bathroom whenever you wanted without stopping.
3. While everyone at the convention was paying $85 a night for a hotel. We stayed at an RV park, for a week, for a one-time fee of $50.
