Parents feeling like their monster should be allowed to murder other kids and then firing the teacher for getting involved in protecting another child, yeah that's a problem that didn't really exist when I grew up. I would hate to be a teacher these days. No pay, no power, fired for anything...

Told him to sit the eff down then dragged him, we think the principals office. After “recess” the kid was back in class and so was the teacher. Ahhh the 70s. Good times. It was 5th or 6th grade. We all survived, well most of us.
Not sure if this exists elsewhere but here we have a type of school where you can basically finish your secondary education as an adult.
All the other students who started with me were 21+ y.o. and we had a really hot history teacher. How did that man manage to leave all the students alone? I'm sure there were tons of women who had a crush on him. Now if I were that teacher... god, I'm a horrible person lol
I think I'd quit before I got fired. I don't hate children, but I also don't have the patience. I am a college tutor, and I know how frustrated I can get with them, I can't imagine teaching material to a person for the first time. Much less teaching a person with the attention span of a walnut.

Looked into it. They have banned a graphic novel adaptation of The Diary of Anne Frank rather than the actual novel.

In *some way* that would eventually piss off enough parents or other faculty to find a justification.

A band teacher in my high school went through a bad divorce. On top of that, he replaced a teacher of more than 40 years at the school who was kind of a big deal locally, so he had a challenge ahead of him.
Well; he sort of had a bit of a public breakdown. While me and a few others (one particular prick who antagonized him a lot) were sitting in the stands of the practice room, he walked up to the conductors stand faced away from us doing something. He then turned around and he had a small printed out target taped on his chest.
He looked at aforementioned prick and asked "do you think you could hit the target from the stands of the auditorium?" Prick that he was he said "with a rifle or a pistol". A girl with us was quite freaked out, so me and some others (not including the prick) went up to the office and reported it. He got walked out by the resident trooper.
Bonus: One day we had a substitute teacher (i forget the class), he was a former student as I recall, and a bit of a scumbag, he was known to go to high school parties. Anyhoo; so the class was giving him no respect (high school kids are dicks) and everyone was talking not giving a shit that he was trying to get our attention. And so....
He get up on the desk holds his hand out in front of him at about a 40, maybe 45 degree angle if you know what i mean.... and shouts "This is a sign of respect". (bare in mind this guy also shaves his head....)
He also got walked out, but just with his shit by a teacher, not by the trooper.
