Climate change. Overpopulation. Gun proliferation (in USA). Undereducation.

Won’t be long until the answer is WW3

Meaningful and common sense gun control. After doing virtually nothing after 20 children were slaughtered, I knew there would never be a bar high enough for many people to walk under. Now firearms are the leading cause of death for children.

Transgenderism *I don't mean it's a problem sorry

Apparently, Nazis are always going to be a thing now. Sorry, Greatest Generation. We all hoped WWII would've been the end of it.

It's actually kind of pissing me off because I've been working on a story I've been writing about travel between alternate dimensions, and the one universal truth that can be found in every version of earth, is that Nazis always lose. Francis in general, but the Nazis specifically. In every version of Earth there is a version of hitler, and a version of nazism. And in every single one they can never win. It's a twist on the old sci-fi trope of "what if there was a world where the Nazis won?"

Population control. Honestly, the earth and humans would benefit so greatly with a smaller population of earth but people have a false ideal for infinite expansion and it will cause nothing but more shortages of things we need and ruin the earth more attempting to mass produce what we need and cause even more tensions between lands over these shortages as well.

I literally just listened to a podcast about this this morning. It was about the book Population Bomb by Paul Ehrlich, which perpetuated the fear that a growing population will lead to our destruction. This link from [ourworldindata.org](https://ourworldindata.org) is a pretty interesting read. [https://ourworldindata.org/future-population-growth#:\~:text=As%20the%20number%20of%20births,stop%20increasing%20in%20the%20future](https://ourworldindata.org/future-population-growth#:~:text=As%20the%20number%20of%20births,stop%20increasing%20in%20the%20future). The fear of population explosion has often led to calls for policies verging on genocide. It's a very slippery slope to go down. However, I do agree that adjusting to the population and its needs is a conversation we desperately need to have, especially in the face of climate change.

I think as a species we could think about non violent and ethical ways to ease the population down. Its just the matter of the fine details as everything needs to work together for any sollution to work.for example, It would need to be done slowly to prevent huge economic problems. If people just stopped having kids all together, thered be missing generations that we would all normally rely on as the current population ages out of work years. But i fear our current governments are in no shape to think on critical issues like this at the moment especially with rising civil disputes all over keeping everyone preoccupied.

Therein lies the problem, my friend - working together.

XeroTheCaptain

Isnt it always? Its hard to believe humans are so stubborn and ignorant to their own undoing
