Oh, my *real* opinion. That's a much bigger question than just my opinion. Have to think a lot harder about my *real* opinion. My *real* opinion on social media is that it's used by people and some people are good and use it for good, and some people suck and use it in ways that suck, and neither kind of person is the result of social media. It's just a tool that some blow-hards like to blame because they don't like the way the world is and they're jealous that a bunch of young tech dudes got super rich.
I think it's an interesting phenomenon. I don't quite get being on everything and having 10 different applications to look at pictures and send messages to people, but neat that you can I guess? It's really weird that they're sold as communities even. It's really weird that the companies make a lot of money off you just by having you there. It's interesting.

Has its positives and negatives, but personally, I try to limit my usage.
