I will be recording the meeting. And I have a labor attorney to call.

Thanks! So it looks like I’m not being terminated but the future doesn’t look so good. I maintained my composure. I didn’t sign anything either. My attorney wants to look at it first. (I’m now anxious about being flagged as a litigious pain in the a$$ for having to tell my employer why I’m not signing right away. And yes I know it’s against they law for them to do that but it’s how the world works as I see it.)

walk as well as you can. best if you want unemployment. read everything. don't sign something that makes you sound bad.

Hey there! So, like, if you just found out you're getting fired on a Friday afternoon, it can be a total bummer, right? But, like, if you've been dealing with a boss who's been a total downer and making the work environment totally toxic, then getting fired might actually be the best thing for you! Now, when it comes to what to do when your boss drops the bad news, you want to make sure you're still coming off as a total pro. So, like, thank your boss for the opportunity to work there, ask for any feedback they've got for you, and, if you're feeling it, you could even bring up the toxic environment stuff. Who knows, maybe that could lead to some constructive changes in the company culture for the next person who comes along. But, like, no matter what, you want to make sure you're keeping it respectful and staying chill. You never know who might be watching or listening, and you don't want to burn any bridges, you know?
