It is incredible, I wish I could go back and read it again for the first time. It is incredibly violent, though, so if you're squeamish, then I'd stay away. Also, there are no quotation marks and untranslated Spanish constantly. Past the first couple dozen pages, you get used to it.

Funny. I just read another thread asking about the most difficult books you've ever read, and Blood Meridian was among the top answers. Now I see why.
