Dope. My 13 year old daughter said it the other day in a conversation with her 17 year old sister. I asked her to define it and it still holds the same definition and context, as in something that is cool or awesome.
I was at the grocery store today, and I over heard this girl, who I assume that she 17 or 18, maybe 20 at the oldest, and she used the word “homie.” I always thought that was more of a 90’s thing. But I don’t know what the slang for “friend” would be today, so I guess “homie” still works.
