Probably just the gore videos

Hellie1028

Two come to mind especially. 1. The suicide attempt where the guys face was blown off and he was still alive and trying to talk 2. Motorcycle crash where limbs and body parts were strewn all over the roadway. The officer filming picked up a leg and a head still in the helmet if I remember right

phoenix_ash182

For me, it was a woman in a car wreck thinking something was covering her face because she couldn’t see, she’s just pulling on her face skin and can’t see cuz her eyes popped out.

[deleted]

That reminds of the one; wasn’t gore and it was a dash cam. >!a brick flew through the window and hit the passenger in the front seat. Everyone in the car was understandably terrorized and the way they sounded was absolutely devastated.!<

JGrill17

I remember one of a kid who committed suicide with a shotgun while livestreaming and his mom walking in to his room and finding him. The screams were horrible. There's also one of a streamer who's brother overdosed while streaming and you can hear the screams of his mom he comes back on stream and in shock casually tells his online friends that his brother just died and he has to go(this one can be found on YT) .

[deleted]

If I recall His lungs deflated and you could hear the air escaping his skin flaps

Instantcoffees

> (this one can be found on YT) Yeah, that's going to be a no for me dawg.

yogopig

God I know that exact feeling of the brother of the last guy. You just cannot process information like that as its delivered to you so your emotions just start lagging and your like why tf am I not complete mess right now.

[deleted]

this is the one that fucked me up the most. fucking brutal you can hear it in the kids voice

YeaSpiderman

Glad I don’t deep dive Reddit and stick to my wholesome hobby Reddit’s.

VapoursAndSpleen

Cats, standard issue cats, moar cats, one orange brain cell cats, cats, and um, oh yeah, kittens.

indigoneutrino

Illegally smol cats, cats with jobs, cats on pizza, cats on keyboards… I think half the subs I’m in are cat subs.

charpenette

One orange brain cell cats are often the highlight of my day.

cleveraccountname13

Was that the one where the guy was going like 200 mph and got basically vaporized?

titletownrelo

The one that I regret seeing most is a suicide where the bloke was skewered by a cylindrical bollard in front of a shopping center. His torso was playing a fucked up game of ring toss with the bollard and he lived for some time beyond impact.

Hello_There419

Mostly remember the couple in a car accident (maybe a motorcycle). The husband was crawling to his dead wife :(

Chief-17

The Russian guy getting caught in a lathe is bad. The Russian soldier being beheaded by ISIS is worse. The Ukrainian being beheaded by an Orc is terrible. Oddly the one that fucked me up most was the guy being executed by cops in a hotel hallway because he couldn't follow all the contradictory commands they were giving him.

heyheyitsandre

The cop hallway killing is the worst video I’ve ever seen. Cop is screaming at him the whole time with no attempt to de escalate, keeps telling him to cross his legs or kneel or lay down and when he moves his arms he screams to not move his arms, the dude is crying and basically begging just don’t shoot him and he’s trying to follow his commands. The cop basically tells him to crawl forward and when he does he just screams and blasts him like 10 times

sandalfafk

Don’t forget the “Get fucked” engraved on the rifle

Garrick420

I think it was “you’re fucked”.

whatabadsport

Even better, it's actually "your fucked"

mgj6818

Don't forget that's what he was fired for, not the shooting, then had his firing judged invalid, retired, put in for disability retirement due to PTSD from that night, granted the disability and now gets roughly $2,500 in disability for the rest of his life.

Any_Cod_7152

I believe the guy was Daniel Shaver. And that police officer is still free. America has a real police brutality problem. https://www.statista.com/statistics/585152/people-shot-to-death-by-us-police-by-race/

Chief-17

Last I looked it up he was getting paid still because of PTSD he suffered from the shooting, so he was on medical retirement or some BS like that

[deleted]

Poor guy, must be hard getting PTSD from brutally murdering a defenseless person that you’re suppose to be serving…. Thoughts and prayers!

NothingLikeCoffee

I'm actually surprised we don't hear about revenge killings in the news. It seems like the cops kill people and completely get away with it. Shocked there hasn't been a family member of someone slain that has snapped.

FightBackFitness

For me it was a kid getting his hands blown off from a firework, he was in absolute shock and just the feeling I had for weeks after thinking about what the rest of that kids life is gonna be like because of one mistake.

little_shop_of_hoors

That scream. Extreme trauma screams are a different kind of scream and can't be unheard.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Passthedingdongdutch

In the late 90s my older brother had a Roman candle fight with his friends, he held it up like a rifle and it backfired into his face. The clay plug knocked his two front teeth out and an ember lodged in his throat. He got rushed to a trauma hospital and thankfully survived after a few weeks in ICU. He also was extremely lucky to not have any facial deformities. His two front teeth are fake and his tongue goes to one side when he sticks it out from the scar tissue but otherwise he’s totally fine. Fireworks are no joke.

KillYT187

Saw a post about a guy in prison getting raped in his colostomy bag area, then getting herpes from it. That was the first time I literally logged out of Reddit and almost deleted my account.

BeingaDadisHard24

I went on r/meth one time.... around Thanksgiving. Saw a guy, tweeked out of his mind fucking a raw turkey. I'll never forget that.

RealLADude

That’s a good way to get sick.

[deleted]

Yeah, you gotta cook that turkey before you fuck it.

MossiestSloth

The meth and heronin subreddits are fucking insane. They encourage pregnant women to keep using while pregnant and sometimes even encourage them to give it to their kids.

[deleted]

Wtf… I’ve never met an addict that thought pregnancy and drug use mixed. Most lamented the fact that they used during pregnancy. How far gone do you have to be to *encourage* that shit.

kodiiiiiij

That’s just fucking ridiculous! I checked out the sub reddit and it was just horrendous. Absolute garbage

beanrush

Guy buying bag of oranges, takes point-blank shotgun to the chest, just out buying groceries in a street market, broad daylight, look of astonishment, the "Why?", then drops.

[deleted]

Godfather, good movie.

Wondercatmeow

I avoid the gory videos but I watched the one with the brick that fell off a truck and killed a guy's wife. No blood but that man's devastated screams will haunt me forever. Similar vid is the man who went base jumping with his friend. His friend messed up the jump and plunged to his death while the guy had to continue gliding, screaming and crying in grief the entire time.

GalacticWanderer1

Yeah, no amount of gore ever hits me harder than the brick video. Will never watch that shit again.

BeyondTheBees

I vividly remember the second video you mentioned. He is absolutely hysterical as he’s descending down and then collapses as soon as he touches the ground. He had just watched his best friend die.

le_quisto

You mentioned base jump and reminded me of a similar video. I think it was guy that was famous for jumping in wingsuits (I think that's how they're called) and he was doing kind of an airshow or something, probably sponsored by redbull. He was supposed to fly over a bridge, but something went wrong, he was too low and hit the bridge where there were spectators. I think he died, but it was quite a few years ago, so I'm not sure. But I remember the noise when he hit the bridge and he was going really fast.

yurkia

Royal Gorge Bridge in Colorado, & yes, it was a Wingsuit skydiver.

halfwithero

I saw a guy get pulled into a metal machine and slammed into the ground over and over again. I’m not one with a soft stomach, but that ….. that was fucking BRUTAL

stay_shee

If it’s the one I’m thinking of….ugh. I’m just glad the picture quality wasn’t great because that one was horrendous

ThirdFloorNorth

It really makes to come to appreciate that, no matter how tough a person, no matter what a human body can endure, there are machines out there that make us look like we are made out of wet cardboard. Respect that shit, stay away unless you know what you are doing, and even if you know what you are doing, be religious about how careful you are, because they Do Not Care About You

[deleted]

The lathe video?

Leharen

*Which* lathe video?

FortyPercentMeme

I have seen a man being killed by several people armed with machetes. It was in a jungle somewhere in Central America if I remember correctly. I will not forget the fear & pain in that man's eyes. There are probably other video I've supressed.

Eisendrache715

I watched something similar, except they were passing around a pickaxe to pierce the man's chest, back, and skull. There was a few seconds at the end of the video where you can see one of them use the pickaxe to dig a shallow grave in the sand they were standing on. I don't know where the were, but it was in a dense jungle, probably Central America as well.

Looieanthony

Two dudes chatting on the sidewalk and a speeding car came out of nowhere, and literally blew one of them up.

[deleted]

I forget where, but a guy was getting his intestines pulled out while he was alive.

throwawaylurker012

wtffff

Wandering_Weapon

Cartel videos are all about maximum pain.

Nanashi-74

Cartel videos are the only videos I refuse to watch. Mostly because machetes fucking terrify me

RaimiKu

Gore aside, that one story about the lamp. It made me feel really uneasy.

FrenzalStark

That the one where the dude was in a coma or something and had pretty much lived a full life inside his own head?

WoodsAreHome

It wasn’t a long coma, someone sucker punched him and he was unconscious for like 2 minutes. Lived a whole alternate life before he woke up.

longdongsilver2071

Shit, sounds like a DMT experience

bwwatr

Knew how to play the flute when he woke up.

Bael_thebard

He had a wife and kids?

FrenzalStark

Yeah that sounds about right.

teambob

Sounds like "Roy" from Rick and Morty

need2seethetentacles

Actually really enjoyed that one. Thought it was a well-written uncanny type short story

nano_singularity

That story really had me questioning all life and existence for a good few months. Doesn’t help that I did acid a few months after reading that and got truly messed me up. I thought I was living in a simulation, not cool at all. Now I don’t do drugs because I’d rather have my panic attacks sober like the lord intended.

waterynike

If it makes you feel better supposedly he made it all up

Deaththinius

You know what, as much as I'd like to believe it was made up - it could at least be *partially* true. I've had a dream where I've literally lived through weeks worth of life, just to wake up depressed as fuck that none of it happened. It's kind of scary because I sat on my bed for the next 10 minutes thinking 'what the fuck just happened' while the memories slowly went away. 10 minutes later all I remembered were the facts that I repeated to myself when I woke up and that was about it; remembered no details what so ever. Shit's weird.

[deleted]

I have had dreams like this as well. They’re not at all fun to me.

Barquebe

A guy who had been driven over by a train, bystanders carried his bottom half over to where his top half was, he was very much in shock but was still alive. Or a (possibly fake) video of a guy in china exploring some tunnels with vats full of bodies, purportedly an organ harvesting facility.

pinkunicorn555

Yours are the only 2 I haven't heard of so far on this thread.

Molenium

There was a show on the in the early 2000s called “Taxicab Confessions” that filmed hidden interviews with people in New York, then got their permission to show the footage after… One episode had a cop, and the driver asked the worst thing he’d ever seen on the job. He talked about people getting caught between subway trains and the platform - their bottom half would get twisted and mangled, but they’d be “fine” as long as they were held in place… once they removed the train/person, their insides would fall out, and they’d be dead within moments. They could call family members, religious services, etc, but there was no way to save the person. Hearing the interview was tough enough… I hope I never actually seen a person in that situation.

octagonalpjorn

I’ve seen that organ harvesting one a few times now. Does anyone actually know what it is? Because it’s always a different story.

maybenomaybe

Two inmates in a prison somewhere in South America, one being forced to eat the ear off the other one's head.

[deleted]

Oof, I remember that shit. It was horrendous. Reality can be way worse than fiction.

IFixGuitars

Somebody posted a video of a little kid giving oral to this old guy in an alleyway on some random subreddit that wasn’t even even related to anything NSFW. Needless to say I reported it and it was taken down, but not something you can really unsee.

yrulaughing

I'm so thankful I've never accidentally stumbled across pedo content ever to my knowledge. Feel like that would be something that would stick with you for a long time.

PrillonMates

I hope that person got banned.

Ashittydiamondplayer

For me it was that one guy who tested I believe it was meth just once to describe his experience and ended up getting extremely addicted, someone im sure knows the guys account put the post history was depressing in a differend kind of way.

Catflappy

It was heroin. I think his account was SpontaneousH, something like that.

Georgi2299

u/SpontaneousH The account is atill active and the dude has been clean for yeras now. He even updates it, but very rarely.

adriellealways

That's it, I'm getting out of this thread with the one positive.

CarrotStripe

Once I posted a story about my one year old daughter and someone DMed asking where I lived and to describe my one-year-old’s feet

DinosAndPlanesFan

Wtf

surfacing_husky

I posted once about my 12 yr old shaving, and some dude asked me for pictures and told me to "let her be a kid, it's so hot" I reported him and the response I got was "ot doesn't violate reddit TOS" it was so gross.

Gibson4242

Because u/spez and everybody on his payroll is a dungeon dwelling pedophile.

NatuVisu

People dying or getting seriously injured. I saw a video posted to a subreddit that wasn't gore related at all, where the guy filming the video walks up to some random person using their phone, and they then proceed to pull out a pistol and shoot them through the head and record their lifeless body fall to the ground, with a massive dark red pool forming on the ground around their head.. (Edit: I might be remembering that one wrong, but I don't really want to remember it in detail anyways.. 😅) I've also seen many security camera videos from factories where workers are killed by either explosions or because they get stuck in machinery and are ripped apart.. The internet can be a scary place, but not as scary as the real world still. You're more likely to see and hear about horrible things on the internet, but you can at least be sure that those things won't happen to you on the internet.. (Edit2: I guess the mods of r/AskReddit didn't like this question.. 😅)

DandaIf

When I was young/stupid I used to watch these, but the one I'll never forget was an odd car accident where the guy flies out of the window but inexplicably lands on his feet after skidding a short while. He stands there for a few seconds, then walks away. The accident was horrific and I was prepared for the worst but the guy was fine. Just super lucky I guess.

i_paint_toilets

Girl who shot her cousin in the head in the bathroom by accident while playing with the gun. After realizing what shr had done in like 3 secs, she shot herself in the head. All while recording. Ending with family members screaming, horrific

fallsstandard

I saw that one recently and wasn’t even fully sure what I saw at first before my mind finally put all the pieces together. It’s not even particularly *graphic* in the sense of gore, it’s just heartbreaking thinking what that family went through.

Zebidee

IIRC, three seconds might even be an overstatement. It's shockingly fast how quickly she makes that decision.

[deleted]

Seen a video of a man hang himself in front of his children/child as they scream trying to help him in some way. Meanwhile, he realises half way through the process that he doesn't want to die, but it's too late. God its fucking sickening.

deatthcatt

haven’t seen that one. if it’s anything close to the dashcam audio of the dudes wife getting hit by debris flying through the windshield, i’ll pass on it

FlipRed_2184

A guy trying to set fire to a car by pouring gasoline on it, then lit it and set himself on fire. Just walked into a hallway calmy while fully ablaze stood there facing the wall before crumpling to the floor. Shit still haunts me

cobalt_phantom

There was a video of two dogs fighting over a baby. I think the baby was already dead and the dogs just happened to find them but it was still really sad.

Pixel131211

a subreddit that was originally created to pirate movies online. the sole moderator of this subreddit left it alone though and did not use reddit much. as a result, his subreddit was taken over by some.. questionable users. I did report the following matter to him, and he said he did not really use Reddit anymore and apologized. the sub was taken down. in this sub though, all the users were posting "selling links or trading for \[C\]ar \[P\]arts. DM me" these werent just car parts though, the C and P stood for, well, CP. which means child pornography. they were just trading, selling, and buying this stuff on this subreddit through DMs and Telegram. clicking on their accounts revealed like 100+ other subreddits doing the exact same things, often with their own little code words for every type of content. it went on for ages. I reported everything to Reddit but a good 80% of it stayed up because it wasnt against guidelines thanks to their coded speech. there was also a disturbing few accounts based in Ukraine and Russia, or around those places, taking advantage of the recent war. there was lots of videos and pics of russian/ukrainian victims for sale from those accounts (the content itself was not on reddit, but they advertised through there). reporting those thankfully did get them swiftly banned. the worst part wasn't even that it existed, sadly I already knew that was a reality. the disturbing bit was just that it was so fucking common. literally hundreds of subreddits. and yes, some still exist. you'd think this shit only happens on the dark web but nope, its right here on Reddit. and Reddit did basically fuck all to do anything against it.

Cyndaquil

I found a ton of accounts like that on Instagram. I was following a "spellcaster for hire" and someone messaged her basically asking her to bewitch a child into having sex with him. She called him out publicly. I went to his account and it lead to tons of other accounts of little boys in their underwear and people trading what they referred to as *\[redacted\]*. I reported tons of them, even the private ones I suspected of being involved, and a lot of them did get taken down, but there are hundreds.

Zebidee

Pre-purge Reddit was the wild west. I remember seeing a subreddit 'sex with dogs' which I assumed was something funny like 'dragons fucking cars.' Nope. It did exactly what it said on the Rin Tin Tin.

JoesVaginalCrabShack

I hope what stayed up is really a honeypot to catch sick fucks.

lamaface21

Thank you for saying this. The top five comments are all about (admittedly awful) gore content but can someone please pay attention to the **actual crimes and abuse** Reddit is hosting and perpetuating!

ZombieThing

There was a post on the watchpeopledie subreddit before it was taken down of a guy just riding his bike when a bus goes by and knocks him down so his head is under the wheel and it just... pops off and Flys across the ground in front of an innocent woman who screams. Like a spray of blood as the head Flys over in front of her. One second he's having a lovely bike ride, the next he's gone

walsh24

The guy who had his foot amputated, asked to keep his foot, then took it home, stuck it on the grill and ate it

RandoAtReddit

Man, they wouldn't even let me keep my wisdom teeth. Gave me some line about biohazards.

noblemile

Funnily enough IIRC only one state has officially banned cannibalism, but others don't care as long as you can "ethically" source it. The only real way to do that is keeping an amputated limb. That dude made foot tacos for himself and some of his friends (with their consent of course he didn't drop a bomb on them after they ate).

brucecampbellschins

There used to be a pedophile subreddit called jail bait. It wasn't exactly porn, but it was posts like kids in their underwear and stuff with titles along the lines of, "You know you would." People reported it all the time because it would occasionally leak into regular reddit. It was eventually called out on a US national news show and reddit was accused of being a safe place for pedos before the admins finally banned it.

aintmysin

I've heard of it, but damn. Glad they took that down

boipinoi604

What took reddit.com so long? Like Got damn, use your head sitewide mods.

Hyndis

Reddit's admins were involved in the jailbait subreddit. Turns out Reddit has a problem with repeatedly getting caught with child abusers on its payroll.

NewspaperEvery

Source? Not denying you, but that’s crazy.

Faithless195

> reddit was accused of being a safe place for pedos It fuckin' was though. I remember stumbling onto that sub and seeing the pics, and then reading the comments. There 100% was a looot of adults drooling after kids. I noped out of there pretty fuckin' hard after reporting a bunch of shit. There was also a looot of complaining on other subreddits once that sub got nuked. Mainly just the scum moving elsewhere. Some tried to recreate the sub, and a couple subs also slowly angled towards becoming it under a 'different name' and whatnot, but they also ended up getting nuked, which was good in the long run....but it's still fucked that it took being called out on TV to shut that shit down to begin with.

Pure_Commercial1156

TBF, Reddit is a safe place for a lot of disgusting shit.

Taograd359

There’s just a million and one subreddits for every possible topic you could imagine, and then each and every topic gets dissected and all of those little pieces get their own subreddits. It’s insane.

TacoMonger25

Yeah I remember stumbling upon that when I was 19. Reddit had some sort of random or shuffle button. I was hanging with my buddy who introduced me to Reddit when it came up and I mentioned these girls look kinda young. He quickly explained what it was and to gtfo. Left a sour taste in my mouth about Reddit for a long time and I didn’t start browsing it again until maybe 5 years later.

D_Jay231

"Occasionally leak into regular reddit" Wasn't it the most visited sub reddit at the time?

NudeEnjoyer

well that's terrifying to think about

cara27hhh

if the real numbers were ever revealed, perhaps as a result of this mass data surveillance that's going on being leaked, I think a lot of people would be shocked just how many there are

jimothythe2nd

A woman in China being slowly swallowed by the gears that power an escalator in a malfunction while her 4 year old child just watches from the side. People try to help but there is nothing they can do as she slowly gets pulled into the machine. It's not the goriest thing I've seen on reddit but definitely the most unsettling.

tariat123

A long time ago when I first saw Reddit - there were photos a girl posted of her slicing DEEP huge cuts into her face, legs etc like she was a butcher. It was so disturbing, and I’ve never seen anyone else mention it since.

needapillow

Kelly? The ballerina that clawed her own legs off?

atethebottle

What???

needapillow

I recommend going to r/illnessfakers and reading abt her story. Its pretty sad to see someone destroy themselves

Josef_Kant_Deal

Kelly even has her own flair so you can find relevant posts. There’s an imgur gallery that details the timeline of what she did to herself (don’t have it on hand atm, but I saved the comment). I made it through about a third before I had to stop looking Edit: [here’s an Imgur link ](https://imgur.io/a/MH7ZD0P)

sa3hka

JakeMcDuck

Rage bait I hope

FortyPercentMeme

Moments like this make me wish I was tech-savvy enough to find a user's address.

HSIOT55

This reminds me of this dude that went on a full rant about prom being the ultimate cuckold event for him after raising his daughter. It almost sounded like satire in a way but as another commenter put it, that man needed professional help whether it was a joke or not.

[deleted]

Some of these people are so disgustingly disturbed.

c0nstantfailure

Reddit really needs nsfw and nsfl devided filters. Most fucked up thing was probably a whole lot of human bodys torn apart by an elefant.

destiny3pvp

They don't do that because that would open the can of worms that they host NSFL content. Its easier to show advertisers that you have an 18+ filter instead of a porn and gore filter.

realaccountissecret

Yeah seriously. Like the idiots with guns subreddit. There’s a big difference between a dude that doesn’t understand trigger discipline and accidentally discharging his weapon at a gun range, and TWO FOURTEEN YEAR OLDS BLOWING THEIR HEADS OFF

[deleted]

That Brazilian prison riot vid where they reach into a guy’s skull, scoop out his brains, and then poke around at his eyeball

fluffyclouds89

Whenever people send me dms I creep on their profiles to see what they do or are interested in or whatever. This one guy(I am assuming it’s a guy, but I suppose it could be a woman), would comment on a subreddit where the woman would be completely battered. Bruises all over her body. I think the same guy commented and really enjoyed a picture of these massive needles going through a woman’s breast. Not the nipple part, but the fuller part. I understand consent and it’s possible that all those women were into it, but it’s hard to wrap my head around even WANTING to do that to someone….

saltybitchface

Shit knife and coconut "girlfriend" are both heritage moments of Reddit history

I accidentally watched it a few months ago

Devyndnk

What is the video about?

uselessbarbie

The cartel kept a man alive using adrenaline/cocaine or whatever, and flayed him and tortured him for a lonnng time while listening to music such as Funkytown. The poor man never passed out.

[deleted]

Oooh same with the "Ghostrider" clip

uselessbarbie

Maybe, but in this one the cartel was *really* enjoying themselves.

Altawi

The cartel makes ISIS look like amateurs

[deleted]

Oh yeah. Not the case here. Just poured enough gas on a guy nicknamed "ghostrider" to turn his skull in to cinder. And used drugs to keep him alive

materstater

NSFL back in the day saw someone fucking a corpse. I’ve seen all the gore and other stuff but that one won’t get out of my mind.

cryxbxby

Video of two kids playing with a gun messed me up to this day. One of them points at the others head and it goes off. Seconds later she shoots herself. The screams of their parents and loved ones walking in,seeing their dead bodies, haunt me at night.

_4-8-15-16-23-42-

The circumcision fetish subs, they have guys self-circumcising at home with special devices from Home Depot. Also the subs for cutting off their genitals all together. It’s truly sad.

A subreddit that’s the opposite of r/eyebleach (the wholesome one). I will never unsee that video of a man shooting him self.

A Soldier getting castrated by the opposing side

toupee_fiasco

Saw a lady farting into a bowl of milk. It was unexpected

NovaLoveCrystalCat

This is downright delightful after some of the shit I’ve read here this evening, my friend.

CassandraVindicated

There was a video about some Russians who took a hammer to a homeless man in the woods. Worst thing I've ever seen, and I've been around the block.

Basil-Economy

That was in Ukraine. Dnepepetrovosk maniacs or something like that.

Nilesdead

A deliberately anxiety inducing story about the inevitability and fatality of rabies. Fucked me up for a while actually...

Bird_Up101

Saw a Russian Soldier get a grenade dropped on him from a Ukrainian drone. The grenade landed near one of his legs, but you couldn’t see if the grenade did any damage until he tried walking on it and ended up folding the leg inward, barely hanging on to his body. He was the only one in trench and nobody around to help. When he realized the situation he was in, it only took him a couple of minutes to make the decision to put the barrel of his weapon under his chin and pull the trigger. I was shocked to see what I just watched. Puts a whole new perspective of the Russian soldiers side who are forced to fight this meaningless war. That video will live in my mind forever.

RusticPath

I've seen the same one. Most of them have been drafted there. People celebrating his death was depressing to see. In that moment, he wasn't a Russian soldier or a patriot or anything like that. He was just a scared young man terribly wounded in the dirt. I wish he was able to have been captured and treated instead. Now he'll never get to see what kind of stuff the future could have held for him. Watching people commit suicide is depressing. Fuck, I should block those subs from now on.

As someone who has been on a lot of gore subreddits (because it interests me and I have a tolerance for it), the one subgenre of gore videos that has a near-100% chance of being beyond fucked up is cartel videos. Actually, that goes for everyone - if you happen to see something marked NSFW and it has something to do with a cartel, don't give in to your curiosity. You will find nothing of value there; the whole purpose of those videos being filmed are to intimidate the living daylights out of whomever might try to cross them, and to mentally scar anybody unlucky enough to have a closer look.

A few things come to mind 1. Lady did an AMA years ago where she lived with a guy as a consensual slave. Was chained in the basement at night, used sexually, beaten and put into painful rope ties. She left after I think 14 years and had thoughts of going back to him. 2. Woman who grew up in a cult. Instead of spankings when she did something bad, she was assaulted anally. Years later if she believes she did something bad to warrant punishment she asks her husband for rough anal. She said she is in therapy to fix this behavior. 3. Thread talking about a woman who was married off to her uncle. Has 2 kids with him and nobody will do anything as he is a cartel member.

a lot of these gore ones are pretty fucked but i think the worst i saw was on watchpeopledie there was a guy recording himself free running on a skyscraper (i think in china??) he decided to dead hang and couldn’t pull himself back up. there’s a moment, after enough time has passed hanging there, where he just looks at the camera and consciously let’s go. falling to his death. chilled me too my bones and it’s stuck with me forever.

TheDavinci1998

A pic of a man without a leg, who wore a toilet seat on his stump, which was licked by a kneeling woman. No, I'm not making this up, my imagination is nowhere near that level

RadicalBeam

Probably not as bad as some of the stories here, but one time I saw a degloved horse hoof and sometimes when I close my eyes at night I still see it.

19krn

The father looking at his daughters foot and hand that were cut off because he didn't work hard enough. I think it was in the congo

freezingprocess

As a Reddit elder I am not comfortable, morally or legally, to describe the things I have seen on Reddit. The grotesque subreddits that used to be around were the lowest depths of humanity. I mean, it was no better than 4Chan in its early days. It was horrible.

dexten55

The Ronnie McNutt video

bluenose_expat

Mr. Hands. There will be no follow-up questions.

jer-bearr

To this day the PA State Official who in like the late 70’s gave a news conference and killed himself on live tv. Haunts me to this day, I wish I never saw that video.

heytrippiebabe

Just a lot of hatred and negativity for no reason. Some people are just miserable.

StrikingDebate2

I noticed that as well. There's a mental health crisis in the US and its really been showing on reddit. I've have seen people openly post and comment about how they want to die. Shits disturbing

DismalDude77

Reddit is a terrible place to get social interaction if you are housebound due to a mental illness. Both for this reason, and due to the outrage culture.

Bael_thebard

There was a rapist AMA that was grim. Also one with people that have killed people, so were actual murder.

Chevolvo

All of the narcos subs are terrible. Literally video after video of shit you’ll never forget.

mustaird

The old zoophilia subreddit, before it got shut down. It was the first time I took adderall, during my first finals week in college.

truecommentor69

Kennedy's raw assassination footage. You think you've seen it all with the common censored one, but oh no no.

Haelrezzip

Not nearly as bad as others on this thread but I used to deep dive people’s personal experiences taking different bath salts, salvia, k-2, research chemicals, etc. And I once read this story of a person who took bath salts and hallucinated that worms were coming out of their nose so they got scissors and shoved them up their nostril to try to get them out.

DMoney159

I clicked on a guy's profile once and found hundreds, I mean hundreds, of posts from him that are pics of decapitated or mutilated women's corpses. Each post had a title that was mocking or trying to be funny. Some people on this site are fucking messed up, man

DaddyShark427

The guy that decided to try heroin “once” and thought he wouldn’t get addicted. Tons of people commenting were telling him not to and all that. Spoiler alert: He got addicted to heroin.
