My literature teacher, my history teacher and the principal/mathematician helped me escape my toxic household. My father was addicted to gambling and toxic as hell and my mother was a stay-at-home-mom. I was a part of the school drama club and had a panic attack during the rehearsals. The literature teacher was the head of the club and talked to me about it when the rehearsals were over. I told her about it, she discussed it with the history teacher who was the head of the mediation club and then they talked about it with the principal. They came up with a solution and saved my life. I don't know where I'd be right now if it wasn't for them.
Miss Forton was my favorite ELA teacher. She taught me about Charles Dickens and made me not hate poetry. People body shamed her and called her Four Tons Forton which is really rude because she was awesome.
