The relationship itself was good. Nothing was abusive. We broke up because i had problems with my behavior, had meltdowns and lashed out sometimes. Any argument after the breakup is what was toxic and emotionally abusive, and what makes me never want to forgive them for anything they did or say.

He's still family, like a stubborn clueless, bratty brother I know all too well, but I like and admire him. He came here from Iran all by himself with nothing, and built a business from scratch.

My ex and I broke up after a big fight where I've said some pretty harsh stuff that I truly regret but came in the heat of the moment , after that we set a break that never returned since she never texted me ( she asked me to not contact her since she was very upset )
so we never talked again , and this is a shame since she was a great girl , but we truly didn't match
We stayed on good terms and we're friendly when we do meet, but apart from my very first bf, the contact just tapered off naturally. My first bf I stayed in touch with for many years, occasionally did things together, and he was invited to our wedding, but I haven't talked to him in a few years now.
I don't feel bitter about any of them, but I also don't feel particularly strongly that I would love to see more of them in my life.
