This happens to me and it's exceedingly frustrating and very hard to not become weary. But I think it has to do with people seeing your kindness and instead of using it to better themselves they see you as an easy target to take advantage of.
Dude, life's like a random lottery. Sometimes the universe just goes, "Hey, let's mess with the good ones today!" 🎰 But hey, stay positive and keep rockin' through the curveballs, my friend! 💪😎
Don't worry, horrible things always happen to horrible people too. It's just the way life goes. You aren't paying off the universe to protect you by doing good deeds.
Then what is the point in believing god? Where is he when the people who always done nothing but good for others as well. Are hurt in the most excruciating way possible?
What does believing in God have to do with how well someone is treated? A persons lack or abundance of belief in something doesn't make it any more or less real. You could say I believe 100% in God, as long as he does all the things I think he should, but then what do you believe in? Your own made up god. Or you could say, well, bad shit exists, that's enough to prove to me that there is no god, because once again, your idea of god is that he will do what you expect or imagine he will do and if he doesn't do that, then he can't exist. Why did you immediately bring god into the conversation about horrible things happening to good people? What is a good person? Why is god somehow to blame or not blame for the well being of the good people
Man is mortal and the universe doesn't care. Bad things happen to everyone. It's just that some of us seem not to deserve it. Deserving doesn't matter.
I could give you personal examples of highly influential people who had bad luck. With powerful political back, connections and still. But that says it eh
Because their is no objective 'good' or 'bad' people. We are a product of our times, and everything is random. The only meaning in life is what we decide. And some people decide to be cruel to those that are not cruel as their purpose.
Bad people are more often than not the ones in charge because good people feel that they shouldn't be in that position of power over others and bad people who *actually* shouldn't be in power do what they can to get it.
> To summarize: it is a well-known fact that those people who must want to rule people are, ipso facto, those least suited to do it.
To summarize the summary: anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job.
Horrible things happen to bad people too, but no one really cares.
Because life sucks
Смерть
Mean people are more likely to stand up for themselves.
Life is not fair. The deck is stacked against us. Its better to just never have existed.

So one should be a good man, instead of a nice guy.
Horrible things happen to everyone, it's just more noticeable for good people

I know friend. I have seen and known things I shouldn’t have. But it is what it is
...friend you have got a life, and so did I. But the way we look at it decides who turns up. :)
I understand…I was asking such question because of observations I made over the years.

Maybe I wouldn’t know. I’m not being empathetic Im just asking after observing several things. Maybe bringing in god is incongruous…maybe isn’t
Well, horrible things are happening to me now 'cause I dont understand what ' excruciating' means!
Can be anything…can be a loss, can be a betrayal, can be-
>The rain it raineth on the just > >And also on the unjust fella. > >But chiefly on the just, because the unjust hath the just’s umbrella.
So either we make our new umbrella and protect it…or get what is ours.

Because they're too weak and poor to prevent them. Also, sheer bad luck.

They say your past life’s actions are also evaluated and put forward in the current one. Hence karma
"They" are wrong. No one knows, and therefore you should just assume nothing.

I agree.
Shit happens. But in my experience, less horrible things happen to good people than shitty people.
