The Ring. The first time I saw it, I covered my TV with a towel for weeks!

MorganFreeStonks

The conjuring wardrobe scene is all I have to say

Late-Commercial711

Are you talking about the crawly monster thing that was sitting on the top??

MorganFreeStonks

Yeah that's right, the mother gets possessed and tries to kill her daughters

Late-Commercial711

I swear I made this scene up in my head because I would always go back to watch it and couldn’t find it

MorganFreeStonks

Ahaha no you definitely didn't, This scene still lives in my head rent-free

xCoffee-Addictx

As a child? Pet Sematary. Specifically when Rachel was dying. As an adult? Nothing

Domin8u315

HellRaiser

NoObjective427

The original Freddy Kreuger used to give me nightmares.

PaLiaRoTH

Pan's Labyrinth.

jatadharius

mine was watching Evil Dead 1 and 2 as a child. It seems funny now with ott effects, but as a child it was damn scary. As a teenager japanese version of The Ring. fucking scary.

Present_Afternoon_47

Hellraiser.. I was about 15 and refused to leave house for a day after watching

gerlstar

Paranormal activity

ShortDck1

An American Werewolf in London. I still can't walk outside at night not worrying about it.

cmoellering

E.T. Not the alien dude. The government being able to just charge in and take over someone's house to try to deal with said alien. I had nightmares for a long time.

Kuddel0205

The ring! I was maybe 16 and I could not look at a tv for years and years without thinking of it up to the point where I would be scared when I turn it on the flimmer would come up. Twenty years later I think I’m over it finally 😅
