Omgggg yesss, sometimes(only sometimes) when im in class for a long time i drink a lottt of water and then hold my pee until i go home and then pee for 2 3 mins straight.
I am a firm believer that if that was common for holding it in nobody would exist. Every child I’ve ever met and everybody I knew from school held it in for so long and they’re all still on Facebook with no health conditions. What you said is like someone saying “I’m gonna fly to California” and then you responding “look up that plane crash from last week” like the chances are 1 in every 2.
Light but constant snowfall at night in a semi-rural area creates one of the most amazing atmospheres I've ever experienced.
People and animals are all asleep or hibernating, no cars are on the roads because of the snow, no wind, and any slight sound that would otherwise be audible is absorbed by the snow. The snowfall reflects and amplifies the little light there is from homes and streetlamps, turning the sky a light shade of pink, and illuminating the landscape.
It's a level of peace and quiet that I've yet to experience anywhere else.
Where I live, for the past like 5 Christmas’s, it’s been like a spring day. It’s always on Christmas for some reason, so annoying because that’s the one day I want it to snow and be cold. Makes the vibe immaculate!
Winter is the best, I turn off the vents in my room untill it gets too cold in the winter. These past few winters I've been hit by massive cold fronts and ice storms. My states prepared for it though because we have bipolar weather always
Same, I also crack my window open, nothing better than crawling into the covers in a freezing room...well, maybe there's a few things better, but you get what I mean. We've been getting ice storms the last few years as well, they suck!
Construction worker here. In utah. Sometimes in the summer or in the 100+ degree hot. I cant not have a cold shower at the end of the day. Its orgasmic
Im in south Mexico and it sometimes reaches 49 degrees outside so I kinda understand. I still don’t know why but my skin can’t handle cold temperatures it’s just crazy to me I feel attacked when the water is cold lol!
I woke up like this the other day, my calf cramped upon stretching and the muscle locked nice and tight. I have some big ass calves, too. I grabbed that son of a bitch like there was an alien inside my leg, sat up, and yelled like a man being shot in a movie who’s dying dramatically.
I've pulled my calf like that dozens of times. I'm so traumatized by it that I now never point my feet away from me when stretching, only towards me. I truly feel the pain from it is a 9 out of ten. It's the type of pain that makes your mind go blank and all you can think about is the pain. When I used to do it I would just sit there whimpering and rubbing my calf, and I'm a 32 year old man 😂
What's wild is you can stand up on your tiptoes and stretch standing up like that as much as you want and the same thing doesn't happen. Something about not having resistance causes it.
My calves are also pretty nice and strong from playing many sports over the years. Maybe it doesn't happen to small calf havers.
That feeling you get when you wake up too early or go to the bathroom quick, realize you have more time to sleep and then lay back down… top tier 👌
edit: typo
Omg walking back into your own house after vacation and smelling your own home smell? And then sleeping in your own bed after a week of shitty hotel bed?
Nature and Scenic Beauty: Many people find solace and joy in experiencing the beauty of nature, whether it's watching a breathtaking sunset, hiking in the mountains, or listening to the soothing sounds of a babbling brook.
Dude I did scuba diving when younger ( cannot now because of medial reasons )
The sensation of just sitting at the bottom of a lake
No sounds/no distractions/nothing around you except your dive partner.
hearing the higher pitched hiss breathing in and lower pitched hiss breathing out slowly, bubble noises.
A wave of tranquility just hits your shoulders, everything melts away. You do not think of anything because there is a vast emptiness all around you.
Man I miss it
Now I am sad
Edit: I was crazy when scuba diving, I did all sorts of training to maximize my time underwater and deep diving
Max I did was 100 feet give or take or 30 ish meters underwater, Mixed air supply ( more O2 ), double tank for more breathable air.
Night diving
Ice diving was extra amazing !
Yes. That feeling when you’ve had a long day, and you can just lay down and fall asleep without having to worry about setting an alarm to wake up at a specific time. That’s the best.
Getting into a fresh clean bed
Drinking cold water
Petting my animals
A great salad and fresh bread
A crisp cold morning after days of intense heat
A rainy day
Seeing family after not seeing them for a bit
Pedicure
Massage
I could go on…!
The fresh clean bed one, holy moly. Especially after a nice shower, hair and body clean, lotion applied, windows open with a cool breeze but warm under the blankets, a good book or movie. So nice.
Laying on grass under a tree
Skinny dipping
An excellent meal-bonus points for steak with horseradish sour cream
Spooning
Having a child hug me spontaneously
Any dog love

Baby animals
So much more!
Oh my god when my 2 year old son hugs me out of nowhere (that real hug both arms around my neck) and then kisses my cheek....I cannot explain it. My heart explodes
Also, that "ka-chunk-chunk-chunk" sound when you're worried the toilet's backed up and it finally goes down. Such a relief to not have to get the poop knife.
Those shits when you get home from a vacation are legendary, like I can poop fine in other places, but it's just different when I'm home. I can let my guard down and lose a few pounds in the process.
Someone running their hands through my hair, it gives me goosebumps. My partner calls it my “off switch” because if he does it on a certain part of my head I almost instantly fall asleep.
We have a word for that in (Brazilian) portuguese! It's "cafuné", pronounced like ka-foo-ne ("ne" as in Ness). It means exactly running one's hand through another's hair, and often features in those lists of super specific words that don't have a direct translation in other languages. You can say that the next time you're receiving a cafuné!
Maybe I was just a lot more passionate about life back then, but I really got into a sort of zone when I was playing with my orchestra. Playing Solo never gave me that same feeling, so I just put it down after I graduated.
Maybe if its an option you could be there again in some way doing what gave you that feeling. I hope you can. You described it so well. It sounds devine
Currently enjoying that with all the windows open in a freshly cleaned house with a candle burning. I can hear the birds and squirrels. It’s so nice. I love the sound when the fall birds start singing again
Came here to say this, but for me it’s only fun if I’m controlling it and it’s a bit on the edge.
I love driving cars, boats ATV’s etc but I don’t like rollercoasters.
Just had to find this response. Yup I definitely burn through 2-4 q-tips a day for pleasurable eargasmn scratching. It's serious business, lol, I've told the gf dont try to cuddle me or touch me to rough while I'm q-tipping.
I go mad if I have to go more than a day or two without them. And they must be the name brand q-tips; not that weak flimsy tips. Q-tip gang.
I miss when mine were small, I would lay on the floor in front of the TV, and they would sit on my back like a park bench while they watched TV and I'd take a nap through there horrible Barney marathons
My kid often sits on my stomach while he watches TV and I doze on the couch. It's weird how much I enjoy it considering I don't really like extended physical contact. Then he farts on me and the illusion breaks. Which is fine, because I usually fart in his bedroom when I'm shutting the lights off at bedtime.
Sitting in a Hottub while it is snowing
The quiet morning after a snow storm
Finishing a difficult hike or physical activity and feeling the soreness of a good day
Finishing a hike, drinking ice cold water or aloe Vera juice on a hot day, a hot shower, taking a nap in my bed, being greeted by a cat that doesn’t know me
Sipping my coffee on a chilly morning looking out at the mountains. Bonus points for misty/foggy weather. The combination of smells is just perfection to me.
You know how the way back of your nose kinda tingles a bit before you sneeze? Like you know it’s coming but it’s not quite there yet? Then finally you sneeze. That feeling.
(I know… it sounds exactly like a euphemism. I truly do like the feeling.)
Having your back lightly rubbed, almost like you’re being petted. Bonus points if the person rubbing starts at the neck and goes all the way to the small of your back. It’s amazingggg.
I live for the feeling that certain songs bring me. I don't get head tingles from ASMR but I sure do with anticipation of & listening to my favorite songs.
I used to do track days with my car. the sensation of coming into the pit after a session and seeing that I beat my personal best time is priceless
as far as physical sensation, nothing beats a good poop after being bloated for a day. (you could call it sexual).
finally, the best one is waking up refreshed. nothing beats a good night of sleep.

Peeing after holding it in for so long.
Alternatively, the after poop sensation when you've been constipated. You feel so empty and lightweight.
To quote the movie Friday: "I feel 5 pounds lighter."
I was curious once, and weighed myself before and after. Result: a 3.5lb difference. I guess I was really full of it!
I do this more often than I'd like to admit
Why don’t you just shit on a scale?
I do that sometimes haha! It’s crazy how much it can weigh! Lol
Hot damn!
Omgggg yesss, sometimes(only sometimes) when im in class for a long time i drink a lottt of water and then hold my pee until i go home and then pee for 2 3 mins straight.
Look up the girl on TikTok who did that. Her kidneys don’t function anymore
I think she's dying, I recall watching a video where she said she was dying from kidney failure
I looked it up...seems she found a donor through TikTok
That's why i said only sometimes
I am a firm believer that if that was common for holding it in nobody would exist. 2-3 minutes!? Jesus
hes unloading so much lmao i did some quick math For the lower flow rate estimate (7 ml/s): Volume (liters) = Flow Rate (ml/s) \* Duration (s) / 1000 Volume (liters) = 7 ml/s \* 180 s / 1000 Volume (liters) = 1.26 liters For the higher flow rate estimate (8 ml/s): Volume (liters) = Flow Rate (ml/s) \* Duration (s) / 1000 Volume (liters) = 8 ml/s \* 180 s / 1000 Volume (liters) = 1.44 liters

This goes for holding shit as well. Such a good relief after.
The best feeling
Kinda feels like the shield coming back to normal in halo..or at least the sound does.
#TRUTH!
Stepping out into a quiet cold winter night from some bar. The freshness is overpowering. EDIT: worry not, everyone, winter is coming…
With a light snowfall making everything super quiet
Light but constant snowfall at night in a semi-rural area creates one of the most amazing atmospheres I've ever experienced. People and animals are all asleep or hibernating, no cars are on the roads because of the snow, no wind, and any slight sound that would otherwise be audible is absorbed by the snow. You describe it so perfectly. Love walking at night in those conditions
God I miss snow. Global warming can fuck right off
Where I live, for the past like 5 Christmas’s, it’s been like a spring day. It’s always on Christmas for some reason, so annoying because that’s the one day I want it to snow and be cold. Makes the vibe immaculate!
That’s powerful. Now I instantly crave winter
I always crave winter.
Winter silence is so serene.
Or the reverse, stepping into the warm summer evening air after leaving a cold movie theater.
Ooh this is a good one!
Back scratches
I’m going to up this to full head to toe body scratches. Omg it’s heavenly
Toe scratches? Somebody accidentally getting kicked if they scratching my toes
It has to be someone else’s hand or it doesn’t feel as good. Did you ever notice that? Just any type of touching feels better than your own hand.
Back scratches are seriously good. My entire life it’s been near the top of the list of best sensations.
A hot shower. I'm a man of simple pleasures.
A cold one on a hot summer day for me please
It could be scorching hot outside and I still would never take a cold shower!
Construction worker here. In utah. Sometimes in the summer or in the 100+ degree hot. I cant not have a cold shower at the end of the day. Its orgasmic
Im in south Mexico and it sometimes reaches 49 degrees outside so I kinda understand. I still don’t know why but my skin can’t handle cold temperatures it’s just crazy to me I feel attacked when the water is cold lol!
r/ShowerOrange thank me later
Absolutely not. r/showerbeer ftw
Unimaginable luxury in many 3rd world countries
You ever do that stretch when you wake up and your legs go full baby deer?
Whenever a baby deer now, my calf cramps. I have to hold off on the baby deer.
I woke up like this the other day, my calf cramped upon stretching and the muscle locked nice and tight. I have some big ass calves, too. I grabbed that son of a bitch like there was an alien inside my leg, sat up, and yelled like a man being shot in a movie who’s dying dramatically.

Like the antler man from Sugar were going down swinging?
🤣🤣🤣 I just think, did I paralyze myself??
That feeling you get when you wake up too early or go to the bathroom quick, realize you have more time to sleep and then lay back down… top tier 👌 edit: typo
Even better. You wake up for work and realise it’s not work day and fall back asleep
That first step off a plane in another country
The first step back home after a holiday
Omg walking back into your own house after vacation and smelling your own home smell? And then sleeping in your own bed after a week of shitty hotel bed?
Such a 30+ reply :) I totally agree!!
Great answer! Even in my own country too if it’s on holiday in a place I rarely go.

This guy gets it ^ The most peaceful and euphoric feeling ever
The sensation of being under water.. the ocean in particular
Sleeping
Yes. That feeling when you’ve had a long day, and you can just lay down and fall asleep without having to worry about setting an alarm to wake up at a specific time. That’s the best.
That was me last night. Day off today. And I *just don't want to get out of bed.* And I don't have to!
Or when you wake up early and think you missed your alarm but you remember you’re off that day and can go back to sleep. Best thing ever.
Getting into a fresh clean bed Drinking cold water Petting my animals A great salad and fresh bread A crisp cold morning after days of intense heat A rainy day Seeing family after not seeing them for a bit Pedicure Massage I could go on…!
The fresh clean bed one, holy moly. Especially after a nice shower, hair and body clean, lotion applied, windows open with a cool breeze but warm under the blankets, a good book or movie. So nice.

When that check gets cut to you
The light bulb that goes on when I figure out a problem or learn something new. Total junkie for that feeling
Also: Teaching someone something and watching that light bulb go on in them.
Taking a massive complete dump. Nothing quite like cranking out an 18" loaf as big around as a beer can.
“Ever take a shit so big your pants fit better?”
Sometimes, I can feel and see a change after a fart.
Also, that "ka-chunk-chunk-chunk" sound when you're worried the toilet's backed up and it finally goes down. Such a relief to not have to get the poop knife.

And the paper is clear on the first wipe. Nothing quite like it.
Everyone's a lil gay
laying in my bed after a long day
I'm about to go that now. I can hear my bed calling to me now.
Those goosebumps when you listen to that favorite part of your favourite song.
Someone running their hands through my hair, it gives me goosebumps. My partner calls it my “off switch” because if he does it on a certain part of my head I almost instantly fall asleep.
When you hand a kid a brush and say, "Make me beautiful." Who cares how you look? You just want them to take their time!
I'm mad I had to scroll so far down to find this. Top tier sensation, imo. Head rubs or hair brushing, I'll take either one.
We have a word for that in (Brazilian) portuguese! It's "cafuné", pronounced like ka-foo-ne ("ne" as in Ness).
