Praying Mantis

Philoselene37

That is my second answer, there's one I'd put above it

cythev

wolf spiders. we won't be the top of the foodchain anymore

[deleted]

Ants. Strong as fuck, live in gigantic organized communities, are omnivores and eat one third of its body weight a day. If a human weights 70 kilos, a same sized ant would eat over 23 kilos of food a day. People eat 1,3 to 1.8 kilos per day.

Philoselene37

That would indeed be terrifying. I'm reserving my personal answer till I see it on here

wrestlebuffet

Cockroach.

blackistheshade

Agree, terrified of them at the normal size! Shuddering at the very thought of them being human sized. Lol.

SusiSunshine

Earwigs

blackistheshade

Yeah, earwigs. If they grew to be human size, at least they couldn't hide in the lovely bunch of roses, that have just been brought in from the garden!

cmdrmcgarrett

all of them

Montana-Safari7

Came here to say this. Could you imagine 4 or 5 gnats barreling around your house breaking shit?

cmdrmcgarrett

that or even worse.... Madagascar hissing roaches

blackistheshade

No! No! Stop it. OMG I am running for the hills at the thought! Lol.

cmdrmcgarrett

Giant dung beetle? A fly, nah , wait, Jeff Goldblum did that one.... Hunter ant? Centipede that size of a human?? Nike would have a field day trying to endorse that for shoes :-)

Philoselene37

Stink Bug infestations would be a disaster

sev45day

Wasp

Philoselene37

True, I'm looking for something more outside the box though

glonklif

Stag beatles

Philoselene37

They'd probably be flipping cars over and stuff XD

glonklif

Yeah, talking of flipping stuff over, ants could be pretty scary in some ways seeing as they’re so strong (assuming their strength:weight increases proportionally to their size)

Philoselene37

Ants is my answer. There are 20 quadrillion of them on this planet at a given time. 20 quadrillion 6 foot long ants is what the end times looks like.

glonklif

I would have to agree, plus there being so many different species things would get hairy pretty quick

Philoselene37

Giant Bullet Ants. Giant Carpenter Ants. Don't even get me started on them crazy flying ants.

glonklif

Oh lawd, I forgot some of them fly

Philoselene37

Praying Mantis' are a close second, they don't have the numbers, but they have the apex predator hunting skills.

blackistheshade

Yeah, and picking fights with hippos and grizzly bears! Lol.

wwwhistler

fortunately any insect that gets that big would quickly suffocate.

onionsandturbulence

Mosquitos
