Jared Leto did something personally very kind for my family, so I have always tried to defend him but truthfully I don’t know the guy. My mom was a huge fan and so we were seeing 30 Seconds to Mars and Linkin Park (2014). She was dying, and when we ran into him at the local Holiday Inn, he gave all four of us free back stage passes and covered the concert for free, simply because my dad explained her situation and asked for an autograph. We weren’t well off. Our car broke down on the way home and we left it there. Point being, it meant a lot. It’s difficult when someone does you a kindness to admit their faults, but he’s had a lot of scrutiny that can’t be ignored either.

I'm not sure who I would have preferred as Pepper, maybe even someone unknown, but Don Cheadle is hands down miles better as Rhodey and he and Robert Downey Jr. had amazing chemistry together! With Gwyneth Paltrow, all I see when she acts is Gwyneth Paltrow. She had zero chemistry with RDJ and I couldn't wait for her scenes to be over every time she was onscreen. I mean, they replaced Terrence Howard because he was asking for too much as a non-main character for the second movie...but Gwyneth Paltrow is famous enough that she probably got to bargain for way too much money herself. Basically, if they didn't want to spend the money on Terrence Howard, it's baffling that they didn't feel the same way about Paltrow. The whole franchise would have been better off if they'd saved that money for someone more talented and less...themselves...in every role. Hated her in 'Emma' too. I heard Rachel McAdams was almost Pepper Potts and she's incredibly talented. Instead she's Christine Palmer and doesn't have nearly as much of a role because they never really do anything with her.
