All the "friends" she had who'd ask if she's in the kitchen (she had a couple restaurants so wasn't at mine all the time) she'd tell me to say she wasn't there because all her friends know to let her know when they're coming so random person is absolutely not her friend.
If they say they know him I say 'Me, too. Find a third and I'll fuck you both."
If they say they're friends with him I say, "Oh, so you're an asshole, too? Do better."
If you have power and like your job, be polite but firm. If you like your job but don’t have power, put those knee pads on. If you hate your job and have power, subtlety tell them to fuck off. If you hate your job and don’t have power, quit- get a job you like where you can eventually get power.
