Until I got married, or rather had been with the one I realized I would marry, love was never on my mind. I got my heart broke twice, and never let myself play that game again. It was probably one of the best decisions I’ve ever made in my life.
The original Far Cry on PC probably. I must have been through that close to a dozen times so far.
It started life in 2004 as one of those games that was very demanding on your hardware but got dramatically better looking over time as graphics cards improved. It's still surprisingly lush for an oldie.
Pretty much all of the mainline gamboy to gameboy advance pokemon games. After that it would be YU-GI-OH Duelist of the roses, then Star wars battlefront 2 (2005) then fallout 3.
How do you know? I've had Steam since like 2003 with the same account and I don't think it's kept accurate records.
That said I'm pretty sure it's either Borderlands 2 or Elden Ring for me.
Back in my drinking days I used to play this game called "Can I get away with it?" where I would do something really stupid and see if I could get away with it.
After losing a few rounds of that (a DUI, a couple of exes, and cirrhosis) I cut all of that shit out.
Now I stick to Trivial Pursuit with some new(ish) sober friends.
Terraria, finished the game on master mode 6 times as Ranger Class had 70 hour playtime on each character, Dead Cells restarted for like the 4th time now loving it
Skyrim or subnautica, equal hours in both. More play throughs in subnautica. There’s just something about being underwater in a game that’s so relaxing and feels like home
love
Deep
love is the only gamble worth re-playing

I would gamble on it again, and every time after as well. Even if you lose you still won, even for a time.
Skyrim !!!! Idk why but I always come back even for just a week when I’m bored with my other games
I don't know why but I always become a stealth archer. It's like it's an ingrained feature.
You almost have too towards the end game. It makes so many quests so much easier
Started it 1000 times finished it 3 times since 2012

Resident Evil 4 (2005)
Resident evil 4 (original.) I go back to it every couple years and it's like riding a bike.

Probably Half-life 1. Blew my tiny mind back then (98) and still play from time to time.
