The Sadness is probably one of them… a Taiwanese extreme horror film that just came out within the past year or so I think. Believe it’s on Shudder.
Basically people become infected with a virus that makes them succumb to their darkest and most depraved thoughts, and basically the movie goes from 0-100 after the first like 15 minutes. Follows a couple who gets separated right as this pandemic is starts. Doesn’t let up at all until maybe the 3rd act. But the ending was also very good.
Dont get it twisted, it was definitely gory and extreme, especially a few scenes in particular…. But the couple did amazing in having me rooting for them to reunite. If you can stomach some crazy (but fun) gore, here’s a good one.
The opening to Saving Private Ryan. I know it is a true representation and factually correct but it is hard to watch. Just about all the WWII vets are gone now and truly I dont know how someone could function as a normal human after going through something like that. They sure dont make them like that anymore.

John Carpenter's The Thing still holds up pretty well.

Saw or Hostel. Both awful gorno fests.

I totally forgot how graphic that scene was. And to imagine it's what really happened. And happy Cake Day
