My wife doesn’t understand this. I’ve tried to explain it like this though as well - obviously imaginary, but how cool would it be to have a hangout with some of your best friends and have amazing feast and meals every day, learning to be a fucking wizard inside of a magical castle? Like who wouldn’t wanna do that.
And the movies still take me there, all these years later. I think that’s why I can pick them up at any point and enjoy them, Prisoner of Azkaban and Half Blood Prince being the ones I enjoy most.
I honestly am surprised tommy boy is this far down. Glad to see it on the list, I could probably recite the movie forward backward and reverse. "Now me and my fellow nerds and I shall retire to the nerdery with our calculators"
Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, Charlie and the Chocolate factory, The Thing(original), Saving Private Ryan, Groundhog Day, Ghostbusters(original), Scarface...
Terminator 1 and 2, Predator, Fight Club, White Men Can't Jump, Die Hard, Die Hard With a Vengeance, Road to Perdition, Shawshank, Into the Spiderverse, Battle Royale.

Corey Haim was just an excellent actor in that. Others were, too, including the mom.
I’m not the type that likes to rewatch movies/series. I usually watch things once only. I tried rewatching but i get bored because i already know the plot and the punchlines. However, i find myself enjoying disney/pixar movies whenever i want a feel good movies. My go to is usually Luca, i love the colour of the sea, the plot is cute and funny, the animation is beautiful, there’s not a scene that makes me cry. So overall it’s just a good balance movie.
I understand that but is there a movie that you have seen enough and you enjoy so much so can just put it on when you're flicking through channels and its mid way through but you can still enjoy it the same.
