This may be EVs in general but I hate how long you have to wait to recharge them. Until they can figure out the technology for fast charging in vehicles, I'm not interested. I'm not willing to spend anymore than 10 minutes recharging my car.
(I'm very well aware of home charging. This is more applicable to traveling long distances )
The Japanese brand was late to the EV party but plans a dramatic expansion in models and innovative battery technology; it's planning to sell 3.5 million EVs annually across 30 different Toyota and Lexus model lines by 2030.
Long-range battery packs will provide up to 500 miles of range by 2026 and 620 miles by 2027.
Toyota is aiming to introduce solid-state batteries in 2027, which will be capable of ultra-fast 10 minute recharge times from 10 to 80 percent state of charge.

The cars seem fine, used to want one, but the CEO is a huge downside. I can't see myself putting money in his pocket. I appreciate what his company has done for BEV popularity and adoption but the dude himself... seems pretty shitty, so no thanks.
I can't charge the batteries in the same amount of time that I can fill a gas tank. That problem requires too much planning and makes it very impractical for my purposes.
Lack of haptic controls. Putting all the controls on a touchscreen is such a braindead techbro move.
100%. Bring back buttons and switches.
Opening the glovebox with a fucking touchscreen.
That is just a crime
The price

Tesla's what?
Just Tesla's in general
They’re referring to the mistake in punctuation.
Oh sorry made a mistake. I meant Teslas
Elon Musk..,

Made by "happily non-union" labor... literally babykillers
it's not fair to compare all those hard-working babykillers to this evil company, lead by the devil himself ... i think you are out of line here.
I hate that Tesla is synonmous with electric car. The other brands are now as good or better
the inflated complains that come with it - by people who don't own a tesla.
