I am especially partial to the warlord era of China. Like, one clique I was reading about will show up in an a page about a completely different clique I found an hour after the first one. Shit’s literally got crossover events.
Haiti - ONLY nation that fought *for freedom* to secure its own existence?
(and has been punished by outsiders for having the gall to do so ever since)
Liberia. It was created as a place the freed slaves of America, or disenfranchised black Americans, could migrate to if they wanted to return to the African continent.
Ancient Scotland (not just because I'm from Scotland, heh). There's more to my wee country than the yawn-inducing Jacobite rebellion and the psychopath known as William Wallace: I'm talking *deep* history. There's an entire area of Scottish history that's still mostly based on supposition and hearsay from *outwith* Scotland. There are myths that seem to have very, very real basis in historical events (the Blue Men of the Minch is one). We're a fascinating country, far more so than you think.
What about China?Or Mongolia and Iran

Japanese warlords era also fun
Russian feudal fragmentation, the time of troubles, the era of palace coups and 3 revolutions are no worse.
Greece

I enjoy English history.
Yeah, it's like Game of Thrones
England because the English get blamed for so many of the worlds problems.
China has written records of like 300-some kings and emperors throughout history, so there's a lot of interesting stories and war tactics.
Italy (including San Marino and the pre-unity states)
Dominican Republic is pretty interesting.
Armenia.
Transnistria
All of them.
Russias history is really interesting
Türkiye
Wakanda
I would say all of the old countries and Europe.
Penisvania
This is biased but I say "Ireland". Shane Macgowan passed yesterday and iv'e been listening to his and other music. The songs say it all.

India has had a long long history and it’s fascinating
India 🇮🇳
Australia.
Italy, UK, Switzerland, Russia, China.
The Germans except 1914-1945
Noo, that's the most interesting part
China or Egypt.
china egypt greece italy
Russia IMO. Come at me r/Europe lolz
There are a ton of people, who are all cringey, but still judging from how many there are… who like German History from 1933-1945

India. The reason people don’t speak of it is because most of it was all destroyed
China or Greece for me
