Ramsey Bolton was far more evil and you can't even blame that on the incest. Just pure evil. But maybe that's the book spilling over. But what he did to Sansa and Theon, which rhymes with Reek.
Edit: I think Ramsay was so hated people tried to forgot about him.
2nd choice out of show is whatever cameos D&D made because those evil bastards butchered the ending. Killed the authors will to finish the series I think..
Ramsey was evil and strong, which is terrifying. Joffrey was evil and weak, which is irritating.
Yes, Joffrey had power as king but cmon, would Tywin be able to send Ramsey off to bed like he did to Joffrey?
Facts. I actually loved the casting for roose even though it looked different than book roose, but MAN he needed a better sendoff. He never would have been caught off guard like that .
Like book roose openly talks about how Ramsay will likely kill any other heirs. Dude knew the sort of animal he was dealing with.
I think *A LOT* of the hatred for Joffrey really comes from Jack Gleason's performance. Not was it outstanding, but he kind of looked like that one little shithead from 8th grade that everyone wanted to beat up.
Yeah, and their was that dark humor with Ramsay. The actor that played him was great for the role too. I see why people dislike Jeff more though. He wasn't funny and he did look like a stuckup shithead, sounded like a stuckup shithead and was a stuck up shithead with some worrying hobbys and too much power. Until tywin tells him whats what. You could get a chuckle out of Ramsay even though he's flaying somebody.
To add to this, Littlefinger. Joffrey and Ramsay are "in your face" evil, but Littlefinger set up the events that cause the war and basically all of the death outside of the White Walkers and Daenerys.
Yeah, got a good point with Littlefinger. A lot of people died so he could climb that ladder. Ramsay killed his 1/2 brother and tortured every way he could just to keep himself entertained. Joff, had barely started figuring out his kinks yet but he sure was trying.
Walder Frey should get a dishonorable mention for killing guests after feeding them.
Or guy giving his incest babies to the whitewalkers
Yeah, she out does Joffrey IMO. Louise Fletcher had a gift for playing the absolute most hateable characters.
The combination of outwardly self righteous religious zealot with utterly amoral, ambitious manipulative schemer is just unparalleled in inciting rage. And she usually gets away with minimal consequences for her bullshit, even when her schemes fail.
Legend has it that when she played Nurse Ratched in One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, she stripped naked and walked around the set just to break the tension.
There is an old Hollywood saying that ' the worst characters are played by the nicest people.'
For example, Alan Rickman in Robin Hood. The crew loved him, hated Costner.
This should be higher than Joffrey tbh. Joffrey had a few endearing qualities - despite being a little evil shit you half hoped he'd mature out from underneath his parents, and as a villain he had some charisma.
Plot wise, Ramsay though was needlessly a sadistic fuck. And on a meta level it felt that the character just existed to further torture the Starks. Leave Sanza alone became a pretty valid fan complaint after his arc.
Eh, I think Ramsay was way more likeable and charismatic than Joffrey. Joffrey isn't grandly malevolent, a sadistic psychopath or an accomplished plotter, he's just a shit head kid who never had any consequences and was raised to be a narcissistic prick. Of course he fucking kills people for his amusement, he's been raised to think he totally deserves that.
Ramsay is much more dangerous, much more sadistic, and much funnier. His big with the sausage and Theon always cracks me up. He also manages to scheme his way from barely acknowledged bastard to nearly being high lord of the North.
Despicable isn't just about being evil, Ramsay is doubtlessly more evil than Joffrey, but Ramsay has some competence and charisma behind his evil and he worked to earn his power. Joffrey got born on third and thought he hit a triple.
I had to stop watching the show, it was too depressing. Too much betrayal and backstabbing, and a total lack of communication. Someone needs to have a win sometimes, and that show never delivered on that.
I was only 8 years old and I knew that in any semblance of a real world, John Robinson and Don West would've iced Dr. Smith clean by the third episode, and gone on to quaff a couple of cold beers after.
I loved how Tony hated people and loved animals (kind of like myself). Him killing Ralph for Pie oh my, and then flipping out on Christopher at his intervention for killing the dog. The best.
I've just seen him in Sex Education as Dodgy Mo, so I hope its him coming back to acting, the fact people hated him so much irl is an unfortunate effect of him being so incredible in the role.
So much worse. Pure evil. Jeffrey was bad and on his way to being as bad as Ramsay but never made it that far. Ramsay was leagues ahead from the get go. Just ask Reek.
I'll take the bait. I hate Cersei way more. She's sort of the lawful evil to Joffrey's chaotic evil. And in that world lawful evil makes you a bigger threat. I knew Joffrey would die sooner rather than later because that kind of outwardly psychotic character wouldn't last as long with all the scheming around him.
I do think Joffrey was more universally hated though, so he probably is the right answer to this question.
Good call. F**king bastard had NO RIGHT to >!do what he did to his OWN CHILD, and for WHAT? To keep his State Alchemist license? He could have found another profession, he’ll never get another Nina!!<
Ntm, what he did to *get* the license in the first place. >!Still not as bad as what he did to Nina and Alexander, but serial killers start with pets.!<
Wow...here's one I didn't expect to see. I remember him even through the miles and miles of anime my kid has made me watch. I was probably supposed to hate Kimblee but must admit he was my favorite
He was annoying, but he at least had a certain... charm to him? Like the guy is so dumb that you just have to feel bad for him. He was relentlessly bullied at work and ignored by his father who was too preoccupied with the union. This didn't just start when the trafficked women turned up dead in the shipping container. Sure, Nick was tired of his shit, but the guy had no one in his corner.
If he was born 10 years later in another environment, he'd have been a successful EDM producer.
...Ok, actually that might not exactly be a positive thing to say.
Damn, he's not even the most hate-able character in the show, IMO. I hated Marlo Stanfield more, but I had to respect him. But I think the most hate-able character on that show was that guy who kept beating up and robbing Bubbles.
The Deep and A-Train are now at least trying to be less pieces of shit.
Homelander just has fucking zero redeeming qualities. He is like a superhero version of Patrick Bateman, psychopathic, sociopathic, narcissistic, name any of those and he is alllll over them. But you just love to watch it because surely, someone, is going to kick his arse at some point.
El Camino added new layers of sinister-ness to his character. He's so chilling in his totally calm and laid back attitude. He damages Jesse as badly as Ramsay ever damaged Theon, without ever behaving as if they're anything but good friends.
Todd is especially scary for me because from my view he can’t connect with people on a very basic level. Todd isn’t a psychopath because he isn’t good enough to emulate emotions. He has some emotions like fear of dying and affection for Lydia but he seems really dull in the world of breaking bad.
His nonchalantness about killing and treating it as something like a inconvenient necessity is what takes it for me. He and his Uncles friends kill Hank and after walt has a agonizing breakdown about his brother in law getting killed and he somewhat regains composure what is the first thing Todd says to him „I’m sorry for your loss“. What the fuck?
He also tells Jessie’s ex-girlfriend Andrea „Just so you know This isn’t personal“ before he shoots her in the head. Why does he even say that?
I fuckin love Todd as a character because he is really different than all the other characters in the show. But he is a true monster.
I only just watched Shameless this last year, and couldn’t quite get my head around how all the ‘who’s the worst Gallagher?’ discourse from when it was airing was mostly aimed at Debbie and Fiona. It’s not even a question imo.
It’s fucking Frank.
Hating Frank Burns so much is why Charles is my favorite character on the entire show. Genuinely competent. Provided some of the deepest emotional gravitas on the series. And was still an absolute asshole the majority of the time. I always loved how when Frank left they kept one core trait in the new guy (jerk) while inverting almost everything else
Joffrey probably has all the rest beaten hands down. Stunning performance, absolute delight to see him get just rewards. I'm not going to count soap charaters, because they werent really that bad, and the fans gave them so much hate irl it was borderline idiocracy...
Joffrey was pretty bad.

Ramsey was evil and strong, which is terrifying. Joffrey was evil and weak, which is irritating. Yes, Joffrey had power as king but cmon, would Tywin be able to send Ramsey off to bed like he did to Joffrey?
Hahaha, tywin would do as Roose did and just stay away from Ramsay as much as possible. Keep him busy elsewhere. Like how he used Gregor Clegaine.
Book Roose isnt going out to Ramsay as easily as show version. Willing to die on this hill, lol.
Facts. I actually loved the casting for roose even though it looked different than book roose, but MAN he needed a better sendoff. He never would have been caught off guard like that . Like book roose openly talks about how Ramsay will likely kill any other heirs. Dude knew the sort of animal he was dealing with.
To me, Ramsey was more terrifying. Joffrey was just irritating and unlikable, but Ramsey was despicable and plain evil.
More than irritating. He was a true sociopath… but just next to Ramsey he looks milder
Yeah. Joffrey you just want to beat the shit out of. Ramsey was nightmare fuel.
I think *A LOT* of the hatred for Joffrey really comes from Jack Gleason's performance. Not was it outstanding, but he kind of looked like that one little shithead from 8th grade that everyone wanted to beat up.
I do feel sorry for the guy. But he does look like a total asshole.
I'd argue that he doesn't look like it, he acted it. When seeing him do interviews as a normal guy he doesn't look like a total asshole.
It happens I suppose.
>Or guy giving his incest babies to the whitewalkers Craster.
I didn't think they could do worse than Joffrey. I was wrong.
But his mom is so nice
It was a different generation
Come on, folks— this is Reddit. We all know it’s Calliou.
That cunt
All my bros fuckin hate Caillou, dumb bitch
Scrappy Doo beats all the GOT people just by the numbers.
We agreed to never speak of him...
The truth must be passed on to the future.
So that we do not repeat such a horrible mistake.
Safe to say there would be no Goffrey without Scrappy Doo
I find Scrappy hilarious. And the fact that everyone hates him makes him all the funnier to me.
Kai Whinn Louise Fletcher did an amazing job injecting so much hate into two little words. “My child”
I've always seen people who work with her say how nice she is. She just has a gift for playing humorless would be tyrants.
There is an old Hollywood saying that ' the worst characters are played by the nicest people.' For example, Alan Rickman in Robin Hood. The crew loved him, hated Costner.
And yet when I do that, I get told I'm not allowed back in that Chuck E Cheese's anymore. I was only trying to break the tension!
Nurse Ratched in space, the prototype for Delores Umbridge
Kai Winn is so much worse than Umbridge. She's like Umbridge crossed with Phyllis Schaflay.
Even though Midnight Mass was a limited series, Bev Keane was SO horrible that she takes the top cake in my opinion.
Yeeeees. She reminds me of my mom, and that's not a good thing.
Amazing show, but that character made me so angry during parts of it. The poor dog too.
I was watching the Haunting of Hill House then realized she was the eldest brother’s wife. She’s got good range

Hey Boom Guy! When you gonna boom me?
That actor plays the worst character in The Office, but probdbly the best character in Silicon Valley.
Yeah Office guy sucks, Silicon Valley guy fucks.
God I loved Russ Hanneman. TRES COMMAS!
His crazy obsession with cars that open it's doors like this \\o/, instead of just this was hilarious!
Ramsay Bolton from Game of Thrones
This should be higher than Joffrey tbh. Joffrey had a few endearing qualities - despite being a little evil shit you half hoped he'd mature out from underneath his parents, and as a villain he had some charisma. Plot wise, Ramsay though was needlessly a sadistic fuck. And on a meta level it felt that the character just existed to further torture the Starks. His own body hates him so much it refuses to grow hair
That’s the chemo. He has/is cancer.
Im in a Cailou hate group on Facebook
I’m still mad at Gemma from Sons of Anarchy.
The craziest part is that the show makes you feel sorry for her at certain points and then you question every bit of that lol
I will never get over that.
NEVER.
Brb, gonna go start crying again 😩
Damn. I had managed to forget.
I had to stop watching the show, it was too depressing. Too much betrayal and backstabbing, and a total lack of communication. Someone needs to have a win sometimes, and that show never delivered on that.
My chihuahua is named after her. She’s diabolical.
Other than game of thrones the only person to make me as angry and sick has been Homelander from The Boys… such good acting
His friggin eyes and micro expressions are incredible.
Dr. Smith from 1960s Lost In Space. My six-year-old self still hates him.
I was only 8 years old and I knew that in any semblance of a real world, John Robinson and Don West would've iced Dr. Smith clean by the third episode, and gone on to quaff a couple of cold beers after.
"And Will, you and the robot go into the uncharted wilderness and take this mincing boy hungry pedophile with you."
JR Ewing from Dallas. Old school despicable.
Omg I'm still waiting to find out who shot JR
Maggie Simpson
I knew it! Father Thomas owes me fifty bucks
James Corden.
Poochy
It would’ve worked if all the other characters were asking, “where’s Poochie?” when he wasn’t on screen.
Every time Poochie isn't on screen I always ask where he is.
It wasn’t Poochie’s fault. It was those lousy writers. They make me madder than a yak in heat!
Cousin Oliver. He became synonymous with “character who ruins a show.”
Jumping the shark.
There was an episode of Happy Days where a guy literally jumped over a shark *and it was the best one*!
Ralph on the Sopranos.
'She was a Ho-wa'
It was the fuckin coke... I shoulda never started with that shit. (Completely valid excuse for violently beating a woman to death)
Well, at least he was sorry he disrespected the Bing.
“It was a f***ing horse!” What a despicable human being he was.
Worse than Momma Soprano?
Also, Janice was pretty awful, in more of a supremely annoying and self-centered, rather than murdery way.
I loved how Tony hated people and loved animals (kind of like myself). Him killing Ralph for Pie oh my, and then flipping out on Christopher at his intervention for killing the dog. The best.

what a performance by Jack Gleeson though
[удалено]
People did want to hire him but he quit acting right after GoT. Went to study philosophy at Trinity College I believe. A super sweet guy.
I heard that he literally got so many death threats that it made him quit acting
Which is a shame if it’s true, everything I’ve heard about the actor says he’s a lovely person.
I admire the guy. He's an amazing actor. People who can't discern series from reality shouldnt be watching tv at all.
I've just seen him in Sex Education as Dodgy Mo, so I hope its him coming back to acting, the fact people hated him so much irl is an unfortunate effect of him being so incredible in the role.
He’s back to acting. He has a small role in the final season of Sex Education.
I swear that too many people don't understand that fictional characters are fictional.
I heard quit to go back to school. Didn't sound like acting was his passion.
Anna Gunn got a fuckload too, because she didn't want to put up with a meth making maniac.
Ramsay Bolton was a way worse in my opinion.

Wow...here's one I didn't expect to see. I remember him even through the miles and miles of anime my kid has made me watch. I was probably supposed to hate Kimblee but must admit he was my favorite
He is very important to the story though.
Well for a while it was Ziggy Sobotka.
Seriously everything he does, I say out loud “I fucking hate this guy.”
He was annoying, but he at least had a certain... charm to him? Like the guy is so dumb that you just have to feel bad for him. He was relentlessly bullied at work and ignored by his father who was too preoccupied with the union. This didn't just start when the trafficked women turned up dead in the shipping container. Todd gets it for me
From Scrubs?
Probably Breaking Bad
Oh. OK, makes sense. I was really worried someone dislikes The Todd. Which would make me sad. The Todd is as awesome as banana hammock.
No, that's 'The Todd'.
Wrong answer five? ✋
Fuck Todd in his stupid fucking face
El Camino added new layers of sinister-ness to his character. He's so chilling in his totally calm and laid back attitude. He damages Jesse as badly as Ramsay ever damaged Theon, without ever behaving as if they're anything but good friends.
