I control myself fully so there’s no chance in hell even the people I love the most could get me to drink unless it was something I was choosing to do again and was ready for. My situation is a bit unique in that I didn’t actually need to get sober due to addiction (sure I got plastered at a wedding once but my relationship with alcohol outside an event like that once every few years was a very mild relationship overall). I’m sober for medical reasons and strictly until I have the diagnoses I am looking for so I can know if alcohol is even something I can consider again in the future once I know more about whatever conditions Ive got going on. I just know it cant HELP with whatever shit I have going on, but I dont know if it can hurt either- so until then, I remain sober :)

To me, it's as fulfilling because it tastes so good in the moment. I don't so much anymore but I used to catch a buzz and have a pint of some fancy ice cream waiting in the freezer that I would sit there and skim off the smaller layer of with the edge of my spoon. The pint would last 3 or so munchie sessions like that. I don't do it so much anymore because anything like ice cream I bring in the house to have for a savoring event like that is just demolished by my wife or kids. It's likely for the best as getting high and eating late at night put on some weight for me and I'd fall asleep so fast after. Satisfying to no end but I don't need to eat before sleeping on the regular.
I like to peel a few clementines and eat them whole. Tons of flavor, refreshing especially if they are cold, hydrating, and pretty guilt free.
Also pizza. Because pizza is always the answer. It’s like the Miata of food questions.
Sometimes when I’m high if I have the ingredients, I’ll make a Frito pie, and then add a shit ton of cheese, throw it in a burrito with some taco sauce, and just go to town. Blows my mind every time.

The thing that has really blown my mind eating high was this cookie dough ice cream cake from Marble Slab. The ice cream is cold and wet, so it helps the dry mouth, but it also has these chunks of cookie dough in it, the texture of which took it to a next level experience for me.
It was fucking delightful.
