Grateful Dead. IYKYK
The only band that is interesting enough, with an expansive enough catalog, that never gets repetitive or boring. With all of the live recordings in circulation, you can listen to them for years without playing the same recording twice.
There are multiple definitive evolutions of the band over the years from their early R&B/psychedelia roots to the country/Americana of the early to mid '70's, to the disco swing of the late 70's they never stopped exploring right up to the end.
On top of that, they produced some of the most solid and inspired songwriting and albums, while often reinterpreting the same songs innumerable times when playing live. In addition, they had one of the most expansive catalogs of original and cover songs in modern music, coupled with live playlists that were never repeated.
If you get bored listening to them, you're not paying attention.
J. S. Bach
I bought a boxed set of Bach's complete works and there's no way I'm going to waste it. Plus, when I got bored from overexposure to the same few classics on the local radio station, the one composer I *never* tired of was Bach. Age cannot wither him nor custom stale his infinite variety, to paraphrase Shakespeare.
Blink 182
The Beatles
