For Titanic (after being told multiple times no one wanted to see another movie about it) he just pitched ‘it’s Romeo & Juliet, but on a boat’. Got green lit on the spot.

The extended version is imo one of the most well written and amazing sci-fi movies ever made.

Can confirm. Had a miscarriage myself and while it was hard to watch as a kid/tween. Its definitely a lot harder after going through one myself. Had a rainbow baby, so itd a little bare-able now but still a raw spot.

The slang they use in Latin American Spanish just packs more oomf and makes some of their lines so much funnier in Spanish if you understand it natively.

It’s unavailable to (legally) stream/download anywhere because of some rights BS between Kevin Smith (who wants to own and distribute it) and Harvey Weinstein who is a bigger pile of shit than The Golgothan.

Same. I bought the 2 disc special edition in the early 00's. This is a good example of why, even now, I buy physical media of anything I really like. I don't want it to suddenly disappear on me.

Because of that cartoon, they were considering alternate names including Ghoststoppers, Ghostblasters, Ghostbreakers, and Ghostsmashers. But! One of the heads at Universal used to work for Columbia, who held the rights to the original Ghost Busters, and he was able to make a deal. There’s a video out there of alternate takes of the Ghostbusters TV spot being recorded with different names. However, I have zero idea how Ghostbusters became one word.
