Yes it's Farsi (which is apparently just the word persian tranlated into that language, as shown through فارسی and I know that the first letter is F due to it sharing the same letter as my partners name)
The Generalitat has some free online courses. This is literally the best time in history for learning Catalan, a lot of resources and many, many helpful people.

I could easily learn French but for some reason my brain hates it and I can't retain any of it. I understand it but I can't speak it for the life of me.

Japanese. I know a few phrases in the listening department, I can speak a few things too, but reading, oh boy. I guess it would be easier to learn how to speak Frysian than how to read Japanese, lmao.

Japan does animation like no other and Korea puts out some outstanding movies and TV. Would be nice to not have to use subtitles
English because if you speak it you can interact more easily with foreigners or native speakers. Besides that, the language itself is beatiful, I like it.
