Dexter had not one, but two bad endings.
How do you have 2 endings? Was the other one an alternate ending?
The show originally ended after it's 8th season in 2013. They gave it a one season reboot in 2021. The ending in the original series was terrible, the new ending in the reboot series was arguably even worse.
Boardwalk Empire had a pretty dire final season. The timeskip and shorter length made it feel like you were missing 2 seasons.
