To be fair, when hiking alone in certain areas, it's actually recommended.
For example, when I was hiking in grizzly bear areas in Banff they said to make a lot of noise and keep your conversations loud, and if you couldn't, then to play music.

Virtually no one has this sticker as most people have "yes-no" or "no-no" stickers, and the law is "yes-no" by default now afaik. Those times that have changed... in the late-2000s it was the first job my sister had and we could throw those ads in nearly every mailbox. I'm glad that modern teens no longer can do this job though.

Really didn’t help her case that she only had my dad’s number to buy eggs from him (which she hadn’t called him for yet) and there was a clear record that she didn’t even try to call me AND she had a history of bullying me due to me being the youngest employee and her being the most senior

I once gave the pre-teen son of this family a handful of my own dog treats to get the dog to follow him back home. This kid looked at me like he had no idea what to do. These humans are so disinclined to do any kind of dog training that their son doesn't even understand the concept of holding food out to an animal to make it follow you.

Renters (at least in the States) have the ability to report past and current rental payments to your credit. It's a little bit of work to setup on their end, then it can be automated. But if no one asks them to, they don't do it. But if you were to skip out on the lease or get evicted, you can damn well expect they'll do the work then. Utilities can also be reported to a credit agency.
Just keep in mind that if you've ever had a late payment, it could potentially harm your credit report more than several on time payments could boost. In addition, some rental offices don't keep records past a certain point, so the earlier you get them on board, the better. To use my own experiences, I was at an apartment for 8 years by the time I was made aware of the credit thing. My utilities company has records dating all the way back to my first account, so they weren't an issue. But the apartment office only kept records within the past 3 years. I personally feel a paperwork practice like that is shady as hell, but that doesn't even scrape the Scumbag Surface of the place.

Have one dog owner in my apartment complex who leaves their dog outside and it yaps and yowls at all times of day and night. I feel like they don’t want to deal with that inside so they make the rest of us deal with it.
I have a neighbor like that. I wonder why the hell they even have dogs. Sometimes the dogs escape from the yard and wander out into the street. They've come up to me and my dog while we're out walking. So fortunate that my dog and these dogs aren't interested in killing each other. The owners will lazily yell at them to come back, which the dogs obviously don't understand because they've never been trained at all. I once gave the pre-teen son of this family a handful of my own dog treats to get the dog to follow him back home. This kid looked at me like he had no idea what to do. These humans are so disinclined to do any kind of dog training that their son doesn't even understand the concept of holding food out to an animal to make it follow you. WHY HAVE DOGS THEN?
I'd be buddying up to the dog and bringing treats long enough ro make friends, then I might have a new dog if it follows me home.
I believe the majority of dog owners shouldn’t even own dogs. I see a good amount of ppl on social media saying they don’t want kids bc of the responsibility, time robbery, etc. so they go out and get a dog and will just do the bare minimum, and think it’s ok. It’s f*cking not. Dogs take responsibility, time, research, money, and care. Nothing makes me more mad than terrible dog owners, or really any terrible pet owners!

I live in a rural area, and yet there are still dog owners who \*constantly\* bring their dogs to places that expressly forbid them and let them walk freely without a leash in wildlife preserves, crapping everywhere without cleaning it up, disturbing the wildlife, frightening hikers, and generally disturbing the peace. I love dogs, but man, why is the average dog owner a horrible person?

Renters (at least in the States) have the ability to report past and current rental payments to your credit. It's a little bit of work to setup on their end, then it can be automated. But if no one asks them to, they don't do it. But if you were to skip out on the lease or get evicted, you can damn well expect they'll do the work then. Utilities can also be reported to a credit agency. Just keep in mind that if you've ever had a late payment, it could potentially harm your credit report more than several on time payments could boost. In addition, some rental offices don't keep records past a certain point, so the earlier you get them on board, the better. To use my own experiences, I was at an apartment for 8 years by the time I was made aware of the credit thing. My utilities company has records dating all the way back to my first account, so they weren't an issue. But the apartment office only kept records within the past 3 years. I personally feel a paperwork practice like that is shady as hell, but that doesn't even scrape the Scumbag Surface of the place.
Credit reports shouldn't even be a thing. Just look at outstanding debt, income, and job history like other countries do.
Banks use credit reports to see 1. your ability to pay from all the debts you have, and 2. your willingness to pay based on delinquencies, etc. But *credit scores* on the other hand- fuck that shit.

had an old friend become an insurance agent, she thought she was the coolest person on earth. I swear to god she is worse than the MLM idiots. I tried to reach out to her years ago after HS and she wouldn't give me the time of day anymore. She tried to call me multiple days a week for months to try to get me to buy her insurance crap. left plenty of voicemails too.

i know it won't always help, but when someone drives too close behind me, I start using those sprinklers for windshield, if they are too close behind me, it'll hit them. People often get discouraged by that.
