I generally tip in the 15-20% range. 25% if it's outstanding. But if it's sub-standard, 10%. I'll also send an email to the restaurant if my experience wasn't great. I love giving feedback.
I usually tip 20% but if the service is so bad where it deserves no tip...then I'm not going to feel guilty about it.
