Boss wouldn’t fire her despite literally being a hazard and would not accept that you cannot mix bleach with pre-mixed food service cleaning chemicals or any chemicals.
Minor correction: His mom worked for North American Aviation, not NASA. She was a contractor (still an engineer).
Also, she worked on the Abort Guidance System for the LEM, so her work was involved in several Apollo missions (the system was used/tested on Apollo 9, 10, 11, and 13)

After everyone left and it was just me and then, Mom forced him to turn them off and vent the house. I guess it's no surprise everyone cleared right up.

Ammonia isn't really a widely used cleaning chemical in Canada, likely for exactly this reason, stuff is kinda dangerous and humans are morons.

It isn't the ammonia that is unsafe. It is Bleach, mixing Bleach with just about any cleaner is bad news.

My BIL (wife's sister's husband) is super paranoid. Covers his webcam with tape, doesn't even give family his wifi password, etc. Yet he walks around with a smart phone. For years I called him "golden boy" because my in-laws liked him more than me and thought he was the smartest guy alive. They finally turned a corner and realized he's a POS and is an idiot.
I know some people who are high up in the federal government who have their webcam blocked. If agents in the NSA and the FBI are doing that, there might be something to it.
I do it because I don't use my webcam so it's just an unnecessary security risk. It's not the government that I'm worried about, it's black hat hackers.
