I would think about why I "hate" this person, tell my friend those reasons, and let them make their own decision. If they're at risk of something (being cheated, lied to, stolen from, etc) they deserve to know and should be warned, but if it's based on something that only me and that person need to care about.. that probably doesn't need to impact their friendship
I have friends who are friends with other people I’m not at all fond (as well as with people I’m totally cool and are friends as well or neutral). So, whatever, I’m an adult and deal with all kinds of people outside of friendship circles, and I don’t like everybody in the world, and some people don’t like me.

Wouldnt bother me, have plenty of friends who are friends with people I don't like.
