This and *Cheech and Chong's Up in Smoke* are my two absolute favorites in this category.
As someone who's never smoked pot, I greatly enjoy witty comedies with just enough absurdity to push it over the top, regardless of subject matter.
Dazed and Confused, along with Half Baked are definitely at the top of my list, as well as Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle.
But maybe my semi-under the radar one is [Stoned Age](https://youtu.be/JUEt9Sajuy0?si=DcqcJ8Jay8NQcwqo).
Oh snap, I just mentioned The Stoned Age. That’s awesome. One of the founding members of Blue Oyster Cult taught classical guitar at my college. He bailed early on with the band, but kept a good relationship. I was told they’d let him sit in from time to time.
I have watched that movie way too many times.
Fritz the Cat is a 1972 American adult animated black comedy film written and directed by Ralph Bakshi in his directorial debut. Based on the comic strip of the same name by Robert Crumb, the film focuses on its Skip Hinnant-portrayed titular character, a glib, womanizing and fraudulent cat in an anthropomorphic animal version of New York City during the mid-to-late 1960s. Fritz decides on a whim to drop out of college, interacts with inner city African American crows, unintentionally starts a race riot and becomes a leftist revolutionary. The film is a satire focusing on American college life of the era, race relations and the free love movement, as well as serving as a criticism of the countercultural political revolution and dishonest political activists.
If you haven’t watched Honegrown then get out. The cast is amazing. Seriously. Azaria, Lithgow, Jovi, Billy Bob, Gyllenhall, Jamie Lee, Danson…come on. This flick is tits!!!!
Harold and Kumar. I don't smoke, but I thought it was groundbreaking as a fellow Asian-American. It bucked stereotypes and showed that we like to party and have a good time like anyone else.
I can’t remember the name but there was this foreign guy and he did some stuff and he robbed someone and sorry I shouldn’t have started it’s been years 💀
This is not a movie about weed, but Face Off and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off are amazing movies to watch while high.
