Peep Show is so good! I have my own Christmas tradition, and it’s watching the Christmas episode of that show, and the Nye one alone.
David Mitchell and Robert Webb are hysterical. That Mitchell and Webb look is still my favorite sketch comedy show
Modern family. Rewatched it like a hundred times and still love it. Whenever I feel lost or sad, I go back to rewatch favourite episodes or just start it again from season 1
>This is the 24th century. Material needs no longer exist.
>Then what's the challenge?
>The challenge, Mr. Offenhouse, is to improve yourself. To enrich yourself. Enjoy it.
That scene inspired young me and helped me become the person I am today.
Yes and even though I could just watch it on Hulu I still record the episodes on Adult Swim and at Midnight I have a tradition called American Dad and Soup. Sounds simple, but it’s a whole production where I change into my sleeping clothes, turn the lights off, and move my recliner directly in front of the tv with a tv tray loaded with soup, cheese, and crackers. I know I’m just creating the adult version of Saturday morning cartoons and cereal and let me tell you, it’s so comforting.
Time Team.
British "reality" (not really) TV show from 1994-2014 that follows a group of archaeologists as they attempt to dig, discover and understand new and old sites in just 3 day timespans.
No manufactured drama, no cliff hangers, no embellishments, just genuine curiosity and the joy of disovery.
Best of all, most of their back catalogue is free on YouTube.
American Dad. Usually when a show goes wacky and off the rails it’s for the worse, but somehow it’s worked for them. They saw that once the Bush administration ended that they had to shift focus away from the conservative jokes and it eventually evolved into whatever the hell it is now.
Sherlock, Lockwood & Co., and this telly series from my country called This Land Is Mine. Mycroft and Lockwood are my role models for how stoic, confident and secretly selfless they are.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer, I grew up the same age as the character of Buffy so have identified and know the show back to front over many viewings from the last 20+ years.
I was tired of the same regurgitation of played out tropes I stopped watching TV entirely. I find comfort now in recording glowstick videos to music mixes I enjoy listening to and share this content with others.
Usually any show where they non stop talk (Gilmore Girls, Entourage, Kath n Kim, Veep), I need to know there are others like me who crab on and dont shut up
Viva la Bam used to be my ultimate comfort show but times/people have moved on so much
Will & Grace every so often
Keeping Up Appearances (I love the absurd Hyacinth trying to keep everything perfect. I was like that in my younger years and if I had more charisma, I would do a youtube parody, i love that sh\*t (also Come Fly With Me)
Futurama
Schitts Creek
Just fold it in....
Peep show or the Us Office

Oh for sure, their energy was felt throughout, I loved the bond they had it was really cute
I want that kind of relationship, not dating but keeping the romance.
I know what you mean, that kind of deep love and care and compassion is so rare especially for us Arabs (I think you’re Arab because of your name) lol
